If dems win a super majority in the senate
(60) they will be able to avoid a filibuster. But according to Wikipedia; "While senators may attempt to filibuster a Supreme Court nominee in an attempt to thwart confirmation, no nomination for Associate Justice has ever been filibustered."
If this holds true then a simple majority will be enough. Am betting if the GOP senate does block President Clinton's supreme court nominees gridlock will bet even worse than during Obama's tenure. How could this even be possible? What a nightmare! And the American people get short sheeted again by an entitled, unworthy electorate. This garbage is getting old.The GOP Congress, is the real problem in Washington DC.
They love wasting taxpayers money on bogus investigations, governement shutdowns, blocking bills that would actually help the American people.
