I do the above but the link already ends up broken after a day or so. What am I doing wrong?

uh, use the computer, that is.....

I'm already fairly adept at, well, you know...';-)

Ok, I'm an older stud, maybe a little saggy here and there, boyishly gray maybe, if you ignore the hair loss... heck, if you ignore my wobbly bits, I AM a stud! And with a beautiful woman to inspire me, I can last five minutes!  Funny!  Sweet?  Who want's to be funny and sweet.  I AM A STUD!

The picture must already exist somewhere on the internet. It can't be just on your computer. If it already exists on the web then proceed with the instructions previously outlined. If not, you have to first transfer a copy of it to a place on the web that allows you to to do.

A couple of places are photobucket and imagecoast. Both offer free hosting. Photobucket definitely does not allows nude photos, imagecoast is more liberal but does not allow anything explicit.

Another aside, if it exists on some website, linking to it may work for a while, but many servers will eventually block access to it's content that is linked without permission.

I know now why my pics are dying after a while. Thanks!

Some sites are OK and even encourage a link to their top level page. They then can control the viewer and get the chance to benefit from him clicking on ads, etc. but if you link to something buried on a page (like a picture) they get no such benefit.

Another type of blockage comes from sites that simply are not set up to handle the heavier traffic that such a link might generate.
