His intentions, other than being mistaken for you, are unclear. At a minimum, I could see a motivation to lend more weight to his posts (uncool, but least harmful). Worst case, his intentions could be to use your handle to get past a provider’s screening, or post in a manner that reflects negatively upon you (ie – potential risk to providers and possible harm to your reputation). You don’t seem comfortable with it. Nor would I.

Similar to someone going with “Beefeater501” – it will draw association but there’s a good chance the discrepancy will be noted, especially as an alias.
