A topic that came up at work:
When you have an annoying song stuck in to your head by a coworker or an errant flip of the radio dial, what other song do you use to un-stick the first?
My favorite technique is to share said ear-worm with another person. I feel this passes said song along and what they do with it is up to them!
From a musical karma POV, might be dooming me to future annoying tracks, but I do find it clears it out of my head!

Me? I usually end up breaking out Time Warp from Rocky Horror, which will un-stick almost any other song for me. Problem is now my co-workers are pissed because they're doing the Time Warp (again).
any recommendations?
"Riff Raff" Kosh
"Whip Nae Nae" will un-stick ANYTHING. It's like Draino for the brain. BUT it will make you want to kill yourself . . . Sometimes the cure is worse than the disease.
There are two songs that I know that have the power to remove even the most powerful juju from your ears and/or brain after an awful song has taken up residence there.
The first is AC/DC "You shook me all night long."
It has the additional benefit of curing diabetes, knuckleheadedness, insomnia, hipsterism, and toejam. But it might also turn you into a raging alcoholic.
The second is Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody."
Which cures just about everything that ails you. It purges toxins, gluten and peanut allergies, and the tendency to wear a mullet. But be warned that it could also readjust your setting on the Kinsey scale. If you know what I mean...
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
But you might just pick up a killer fashion sense too.
You're welcome
Ok, I'm a bit confused.
I had you figured for more of a "Fat Bottom Girls" singer than anything with the lines
"But I'm just a poor boy and nobody loves me
He's just a poor boy from a poor family
Spare him his life from this monstrosity..."
Seriously!
"I've been singing with my band
Across the water, across the land
I've seen every blue eyed floozy on the way (hey)
But their beauty and their style
Went kind of smooth after a while
Take me to them naughty ladies every time
C'mon!
Oh, won't you take me home tonight?
Oh, down beside your red fire light
Oh, and you give it all you got
Fat bottomed girls you make the rocking world go round..."
Yep, that sounds much more like how I picture your style, E.
just saying,

Koshie,
You know me too well.
I'm always down with some fat bottomed girls.
Oh, and that song is pretty awesome too.

ow could we get away without posting a link? That's just negligent threadmanship. Right now we could be listening to great music AND looking at girls' butts. That's a win-win scenario in my book.
So here you go:

Queen - Fat bottomed girls
Speaking of brainwashing - as in "I need a good...", imagine my consternation the other day when I got this little gem stuck in my head:
Warning - don't click on this link unless you want to be transported back to the 80's. And not the good part. Well, not that there really was a good part of the 80's. Anyway - you've been warned... Seriously, don't click. It's not pretty.

Dead or Alive - You spin me round
You clicked on it, didn't you? I tried to warn you. I feel guilty for even posting that last link. It's like leaving a punji pit for someone to fall right into.
Oh well.
Just to make it up to you - I'll leave you with a nice palette (and brainpan) cleanser:

Gaelic Storm - Scalliwag
I feel better already

"Riff Raff" Kosh
Paint It Black
Sympathy For The Devil
I remember seeing the Stones in the late 80s early 90s at "Death Valley", Clemson. The stadium was back as the band was facing Frat Hill. Nothing like the sound of 100,000 + going "Who? Who?" for almost 10 mins.
For me, there are few 'bad' Stones songs.
Thanks for the commentary.
Dammit, Kosh!! Oh well, I turn to my remedy, Whole Lotta Rosie by AC/DC. Ahhhh, that's it! Now I'm driving to fast, lol!
"But it's the Pelvic Thrust! They really drive you in-say-ay-ay-ay-een"...
Sorry man, couldn't resist.
Fuck Her Gently by Tenacious D....It will definitely get stuck in your head
