Zurich parking

Bumsalp has a a basement garage, additionally there is parking available in some of the nearby shops/showrooms such as Interio.

Unless you have other reasons for needing a car it's cheaper and easier to use public transport in Zurich. Zurich is a much less car friendly city than Frankfurt and the clubs you mentioned are all easily accessible by public transport. Switzerland has a lot of speed cameras and much higher speeding fines than Germany. On the Deutsche Bahn site you can get a return ticket from Frankfurt to Zurich for as little as 78 Euro if you book ahead.

Globe has late trains on Friday and Saturday night, but otherwise services generally stop around midnight. For information about public transport within Zurich use the ZVV site

I am planning a trip to Zurich in Apr timeframe and wanted to know about rental car parking very near Club BumsAlp or Club Life in Dubendorf. I plan to drive from Frankfurt. I know that free parking is available at Club Globe and I plan to use it. I was hoping for the Dubendorf clubs to have this facility too. I do see on Google Maps zoom in view few car parking spots at both BumsAlp and Life. Please let me know if someone has used these (are they reserved spots) and share their experience. Many thanks in advance.

Thank you for the info Lizard50. I think I will stick to Public Transport. Can you give me some advise on my schedule in Zurich. I plan on being there only two days We & Th. I plan to visit Apro, Globe, and BumsAlp only. Would I find best choices (optifks/quality/quantity) at these times?

WE -  Apro (after 12pm) & BumsAlp (after 5pm)
TH  - Apro (after 11am) & Globe (after 5pm)

I read that taxi is very expensive there if you missed the last train. That is the only reason why I was even considering driving. But, I will reconsider based on your input.

For most clubs the best days in terms of line up size are Friday-Saturday, with Thursday also quite decent. All of the clubs you mention have a day plan (Tagesplan) on their websites so you can get an idea of how the line up varies during the course of the week.

Apro I've never been to, but because of it's location (near the HQ for the biggest Swiss banks) I'd expect it to be busy during the day. Bumsalp I don't visit frequently, but I'd be surprised if it didn't have a good line up by 5pm. I'm very familiar with Globe, and because they have only 1 shift most girls are on the floor by 1pm and you always have a decent number from 11am. Early afternoon can be quite good in Globe because the you have a favourable male to female ratio. On Thursdays all girls are naked in Globe and Bumsalp has shows with porno queens.

If you stay in central Zurich then you don't have the taxi issue after midnight with Apro, but you would with Globe and Bumsalp. There is the Hotel Residence Loren about 5km from Globe and here a taxi should cost you about 25-30CHF. In Dubendorf you have the Sorell City & Wellness Hotel Sonnental a short walk from Bumsalp. Just like Frankfurt, hotel prices can shoot up when you have a trade fair. This site will give you the calendar of trade fairs.

BTW, Swissrail (sbb.ch) also sells tickets for Frankfurt to Zurich, but generally DeutscheBahn has the better deals.
