Do you ever wonder how often you are fooled?

I find it astounding so many people who claim to be educated and wiser than the other guy or gal, are so easily fooled.

I've noticed thousands of times over the years, from associates, friends, politicians  and this board, it doesn't matter if, when and where  someone  went to school, it's what they learn when they're there and  most important from my perspective, if they pay attention and continue learning after their school days are long gone.

laffy, every day you affirm my belief, you are oblivious to reality.

I know ultra-partisans like you hate compromise, but Kaisch is not a wacko and he's got a wide range of experience.

Now we know the identity of that federal agency that Gov Perry and Senator Cruz want to abolish but can’t remember its name- the Department of Judeo-Christian  Values.

This at least is the bright idea of Gov Kasich who explained Tuesday that the agency would “beam messages around the world about what it means to have a Western ethic, to be part of a Judeo-Christian society.”

This is what we need? A new federal agency tasked with “beaming messages” to the Middle East  about Judeo-Christian  values? Please, beam me up instead, Scotty, or better yet beam Gov Kasich somewhere.

Apparently, Gov Kasich is unfamiliar with that First Amendment thing about not promoting religion.

Senator Graham had the best take on this idea, telling reporters “I don’t think promoting Christian values in the Middle East is a good idea. I think that’s called the Crusades.”

Kasich apparently is backing off the idea after receiving universal scorn and ridicule.
But I have to admit he is making Trump and Carson look good in comparison, or at least better.

The worst Republican candidates EVER

I can't imagine anyone supporting him now, or arguing that he has even a snowballs' chance of winning.

The social conservatives already weren't going to vote for him and now the handful of moderates and independents that were still clinging to the slim hope that he could somehow break through are going to not only abandon him in droves (or as close to "droves" as such a small number of people can muster) but they are going to abandon him in total disgust after this.

Anyone want to bet that he will never make the "big stage" again?

has brought out the absolute WORST in American hypocrisies. It's impossible not to fall into hyperboles and comparisons of Natzi fascism when speaking of protecting from "radical" outsiders to the cultural nom.
And how many more freedoms, liberties and soul are we willing to surrender to protect us from their "endless" gorilla war against our way of life? When you think about it it's perfect job security for all levels of security industries.

I wonder if this is affecting ticket sales of George Takei's Broadway musical about the Japanese internment camp in California during WWII. If so I hope for the better
