So long as the legislature in GA is made up primarily of conservative bible thumpers you will NOT see prostitution legalized.

Too many Baptists that vote would get upset enough to make the State Senators and Congressmen very nervous.

Which states prostitution law will get struck down in court first (you may select 3)?

Which states are most likely to be first in abolishing laws (you may select 3)?

When it will happen?

---

California, Florida, or Illinois – Recent court rulings.

Oregon, Georgia, or Minnesota – OR has already declared a moratorium on prosecuting prostitution due to budget issues indicating that the law, in reality, is not that important and that they have a willingness to throw it out and not wait on other states.  Discussions have been ongoing among GA and MN legislators for about a year.  I think it would pass both fairly quickly if the ULC issued a model and they were confident that at least 2 or 3 other states were likely to go within a year.

When? Mar ‘04 - Struck down in court.

What recent California court ruling?  Please give citation.
