I don't blame the Catholic Church for trying to walk this back after the fact as they have their own PR problems without sticking their nose into yet another place where they have no business, but the fact remains. She got to see the pope where millions of other people did not. Ms. Davis is a Fundamentalist Christian, why is ahe meeting the head of the Catholic Church?  Makes me wonder if he was told who she was, and what the dispute was all about.
