I`m looking to return to Frankfurt in Sept - Oct time frame. Thinking of renting a car to visit some of the outlying i.e. World & Sharks as well as maybe a further region i.e. France to see the Lourve bonus visit. Anyone interested in teaming up for part of the trip. Love Mainhattan however want to expand my horizons, maybe even take in a castle tour....
If you decide to go to Paris/Lourve, take the trains. Only way to see Europe. In Frankfurt, the S/U bahn will get you around, prety good. Frankfurt is a great city. Re. castle tour. Might get a video, of Rick Steeves. Europe travel guy, on PBS, but he's good. Have a great trip. Post a Trip Report. And, drink me a half litre of Pils. HAB or Dortmunder U.
