So with drug cartel members speeding down I -35, immigrants pouring over the border at El Paso, and Second Amendment cowboys walking down 6th Street with assault rifles, this is what Governor Abbot is concerned about?  

        The US military is holding special training exercises in Texas. All four military branches will be involved including Special Forces.  

       Gov Abbot is deploying the National Guard to insure that “Texans know their safety, constitutional rights, private property rights and civil liberties will not be infringed.”

     Yeah right like the paunchy barely trained members of the state militia are going to tell those Seals what to do.

      There apparently have been internet rumors that the military is coming to Texas to impose martial law,  or at least to confiscate guns (like that’s a bad idea?) and Gov Abbot is taking them seriously. Are you kidding me?

         Just because the best looking P & R posters live in Texas doesn’t mean the smartest guys  live there, that’s for sure. The White House is baffled “I have no idea what he is thinking” said spokesman Josh Earnest.  Even Mein missed this one. Someone is taking the 10th amendment a bit too seriously.

          I would think this a political move by Gov Abbot but he just got elected and it is far to0 soon to be thinking about national office. I say this is the most idiotic move by a governor in years. Does anyone dispute that
