Maybe if ANY of your Democrat policies worked at ALL you wouldn't have to spend so much time and effort trying to convince people that the party that - ended slavery and passed the Civil Rights Act - is racist.

So since you want to talk about the last century.

Then yes the Democrats had some racists scumbags from slavery until Senator Byrd and beyond.

Just know that Bryd saw the errors of his ways later on in life.

What is the GOP excuse for their racism now?

They just want to keep the southern white vote and block everybody else.  

Since they know that is their only real political base left right now!
