...An average of 22 veterans commit suicide every day.  Last year, the House UNANIMOUSLY passed the Clay Hunt Suicide Prevention for American Veterans Act but the bill was single-handedly blocked in the Senate by Tom Coburn, even though he knew he was going to retire shortly and he was just delaying the inevitable.  

Now that Coburn has retired, the bill will be passed today.  Another compassionate Republican conservative who would have the deaths of hundreds of veterans on his conscience...if he had a conscience.
