Does anyone know anything more about the Fox Nine investigative report on the AMP on University in NE.

I didn't see the report on TV, but heard about it.   I've read the story on the Fox nine website.

As a past patron, I am a little concerned.

It doesn't sound like it was busted by police, but closed down due to pressure from the investigative reporters.   The reporters did say they were copying down license numbers of customers, but they seemed to make a point of not giving those numbers in the story, or identifying any customers they were able to identify.

Any lawyers out there want to venture an opinion as to whether past patrons realistically have anything to worry about.

Any additional input would be welcome. Thanks.

No legal reason to worry.  LE won't come after the patrons unless Fox9 really starts hounding them to do something (not likely) and then maybe they'd make a few token "interviews" with people, but as long as they admit nothing, they won't be prosecuted.  Fox9 is trying to win over the hearts of their viewers by ALLUDING that they will single-handedly put all these people behind bars...  Won't happen.

But, a more serious concern would be FOX9 itself...They could show up on your door with a camera and ask you what you were doing in there for an hour, etc.  This would be morally wrong of them, I believe, but you see it all the time.  Their lawyers know how to walk the tightrope without technically slandering you, they just say "We have no idea if Mr. X is guilty of anything, but our investigators saw him enter the establishment and emerge an hour later, zipping up his fly.  Mr. X slammed the door on our reporters when we asked him what he was doing there."

Nobody can prove there was more than a massage going on in there.

Feb. Its sweeps time again.  Again they make a sensational story about prostitution!

I don't see why there has to be such a big story behind it. Dating itself has become more difficult, and if your married, either your wife isn't as freaky as she used to be, or either even though you love her, she just doesn't turn your crank anymore, especially if while your getting your piece, she talks about the plumbing problems.  ooh sexy, he said sarcastically.
Good service and transaction that's all it is.
Nobody says that life has to be tragic, and you can't have a little gusto sometimes.  Enjoy a little of life's natural resources.

I wasn't aware there were any AMPs here.  Although from the Faux news story it sounds more like a upselling jack shack (only with asians) than the classic full service AMP you find elsewhere.  The real deal AMPs (which I've sampled in 3 states) are usually .6 for the door, and $ for full service, with a table shower to start off where every part is well scrubbed. These ahole reporters would never have gotten past the wash table at a real AMP before they freaked out over their parts being washed.

I don't watch TV so I didn't see this story, but I know about the AMP on University in NE.  It was an ok place, a little overpriced.  I was planning on a return trip, but now maybe not.
