Over the last few weeks four wonderful ladies have conducted five test sessions with me as a followup to the previous post  )    TYVM, ladies!!  In each session at least three condoms were used for a few minutes each, using the same position.  She and I both evaluated each for sensitivity (and fit was a factor also – explained below.)  The one judged superior was then used in the next test session, along with new challengers.  This let variations in body temperature, moisture and, um, tightness to be allowed for.  Those tested included Magnum, Magnum Thin, Lifestyles Kyng, Trojan Bare Skin, Durex Extra Sensitive, Beyond Seven, Crown Skinless Skin, Kimono Micro Thin, Kimono Maxx, Trustex Extra Large, Lifestyles Kyng Ribbed, FC2 female condom, and a couple of others I believe.

First a disclaimer – I am average length but above average girth: 5” behind the head and 6” at the base.  I’m also one of those guys who “inflate” a lot, so I tend to get larger as the intensity builds and a condom that almost fits at first gets very uncomfortable later.   Most regular size condoms will not stretch enough to unroll much beyond halfway down and then show a tendency to roll back in use.  Plus they become so tight that I lose sensation.  Most of the Japanese condoms, including the Kimono Maxx, fell into that category.  (Sorry London, that included Beyond Seven:  “My fave is Beyond Seven. If you can't fit in one, you're not fitting in me! Just sayin.”  –  it’s my loss LR!)  Also, the FC was a disappointment.  Felt like it was moving with me like a regular condom.  So, the results are good for me and guys like me, but I would urge guys of lesser girth to do their own research.

The Bare Skin got an “Oh Wow” from me and my partner both.  Became the benchmark in the first session, although is wouldn’t go more than 2/3 on.  Of the large ones, both Magnum and Magnum Thins sucked, with the Kyng being a bit better, but still feeling thick.  Trustex Extra Large fit, but wasn’t very sensitive.   Many of the others couldn’t be fully tested because of the fit issue.  We could put it on and maybe do a little penetration to test sensation, but no extended activity.  No particular “oh wow’s” with them.  The surprise out of that bunch was the Crown Skinless Skin.  Although of regular size it is very stretchy and thin so it would go all of the way on and rivaled the Bare Skin in sensitivity.  It is the perpetual number 1 rating in condomdepot’s annual review, and I understand why.  Also rivaling both of those was the Kyng Ribbed, which fit me wonderfully.  No clue why it’s so much thinner and sensitive than the regular Kyng, but it is.  Veronica had said that in her thread post, but I was still surprised at the difference.

Bottom line, all three are very sensitive.  They range in fit from Bare Skin (smallest) to Kyng Ribbed.  I am most comfortable in the Kyng, but the Crown works fine.  BTW: Amazon sells the Crowns at 100 for $16+.  Added benefit: all three reportedly do not have the bad lube taste reported on some of the others like Magnums.
