....any ratings for looks on here would be useless. My 10 might be your 7 and vice versa. You might rate Sophia Veraga as a 10, or maybe it's a Lindsey Vonn. You are right - we all know what a 9 or a 10 looks like, we just don't necessarily know each others!
IMHO, there are only a couple of questions that matter: Do you like the pics, are they accurate, and would you go back. Any attempt to rate looks or performance is totally subjective, and should be ignored. Pax.Please don't give me the "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" line. We all know what a 9 or 10 looks like. Do men do this to be polite? To score brownie points? Or is it proof that the Viagra truly does deteriorate vision?
I agree with you 100%
lol this guy is funny
But we all know what we like and if the lady is that then she is a 9 or a 10. Agreeing on what is attractive is easier than agreeing on what is a 10. The appearance rating is the most subjective. That doesn't make it the most inaccurate.

And a fit shapely chick is a 5?
If the guy likes a "fat chick" she may very well be a 10 to him. That doesn't equate to him saying a shapely fit chick is a 5. My point is it's subjective. Every guy has the look he likes. All of the "likes" that have been clicked on my post & your post along with a few others in this thread just proves my point. There won't be agreement on this if everyone speaks up.
One guy might think she is hot a 10 then the next guy might think she was an 6. Everyone has there own opinions on what is hot and what is not. Its really based on the overall experience. If the girl was clean, keep up with her self and overall had a good personality than that will always make her seem hotter than if she was a hot mess but still very good looking. Sometimes the hottest girls are the ones that have no personality and are boring versas a 7/8/9 girl that isnt a supermodel but still has great companionship. Not saying that all the 10s out there dont have the triple threat, but just saying "sometimes". Or if the girl and guy dont have that connection then that seems to sometimes effect the scoring. Its best to see what the juicy details reveal and see if she accomodates what you are looking for and have your own opinion versa depending on what other people have reviewed on them. Plus sometimes we may have a bad hair day! I dunno it happens!!! lol
I completely agree with this. To me a super model represents a 10 and a 5 is the average girl. They can't all be 8's and above. It shouldn't be an insult to say someone is average and rate them accordingly.
I can't tell you how many times I've seen someone that was rated highly on appearance and then be shocked when I see them. I generally deduct a couple of points just to make sure I have the right expectation, but even then I find myself let down a lot.
there are a small handful of providers i've seen that have received many 10s but i have felt to be closer to a 7...but usually the 10s are the most attractive...
Instead of "appearance", it should be "Resembles photo" . We all know alot of these photos on these ads and web sites are very very doctored or manipulated to entice. No harm there, it's advertising. We can already see the appearance from the pic. We don't need a guy to tell us what he thinks of here looks, we can see the looks for ourselves. We need a rating to say pics are accurate.
I guess the following information on every provider's profile is insufficient? Specifically the two searchable criteria of "Real Photo" and "Photo Accurate." Not sure how one rates a yes or no option, but perhaps I am missing something?
Personally, I prefer to meet ladies that interest me at a social event or ask about looks and personality from trusted friends. I don't pay much attention to someone else's subjective, numerical ratings
"Resembles photo" only goes so far...remember everyone doesnt show their face...not even partially
The thing that I've been kind of faked out on a few times is 'actual age appearance in person' which is not a category....we have breast appearance -- but we need that same category for the face too
Two good additions would be... 'Age Advertised' then 'How old did he/she actually appear? (high teens/college aged, young 20s, mid to high twenties, 30-something, 40-something, mature, elderly or even repeat the same age groups)
I've been a little disappointed every now and then with people appearing a different age in person than their pics and what they actually listed (its mainly those that show no parts of their face) -- and when you cross-reference it with their ratings profile -- the age is much younger because a reviewer will lift whatever age she is advertising as. Still had a good time in those cases but still disappointing sometimes when you're expecting something else.
We have candids for that same reason!!
I see four reviews shown on your profile. Out of those four you gave two 9's and a 10 for appearance. So, were you being polite? Having trouble seeing? It's kinda funny to see a thread casting doubt on high appearance ratings, started by somebody that routinely gives out high appearance ratings!
If it's true I gotta say it some people, Men or Women like fat, skinny, tall, short. If everyone liked same type person lot of people would be alone! Sooooooooooo Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but ugly is pretty much universal.
Basically if a woman averages 7 or better on the looks scale, I assume she is pretty. I personally would walk past an hour with Angelina Jolie for 20 minutes with Sandra Bullock. That doesn't mean Angelina is ugly. The difference between a 7 and a 10 is likely opinion on preferences. Between a 2 and a 10...well, she's probably just freaking ugly.
I follow a similar rule of thumb for the service side, but won't go into now.
a day with Sandra Bullock for a 1/2 hour with Angelina Jolie. I generally pay little attention to looks ratings; if a lady's pics appeal to me then it's all about performance & attitude. And as someone pointed out, a marginal 8 looks a lot like a 9.9 with my dick in her mouth!
Rating on appearance is subjective but if the question were asked "how accurate the pics" is not. How accurate the pics should have more merit than a hobby's OPINION of appearance in general....just an observation
That said: here’s my 1 to 10 ranking. Cut out the girls' pictures (all of them) from the high school yearbook. Arrange them into 10 equal groups. There it is. Virtually by definition, most of the ladies who make their living by appealing to men are going to be in the top 5.
Pictures and faces: Most of the ladies don’t wear their glam makeup for an incall session, and my shirt collar is glad they don’t. We shouldn’t translate glam marketing shots into who opens the door any more than we should expect the girl emerging from the shower in the morning to look just like the one we met at the bar last night. There are ladies whose pictures are exactly what you get: Veronica is one and, though I haven’t met her, I believe Ginger is another. Kudos to them. If you want reality, go for the ladies who show their faces in candids
I like when girl's make the effort to be dressed up, looking good (not glam shots of course) but not casual or sloppy certainly.
That has been a big disappointment upon arrival with some.
To your latter remark, I have not met Ginger either, but agree about Veronica-actually think she looks Better than her pics, which is rare.
That is her 100 percent.
A woman that wraps her lips around my cock is beautiful. At least in the moment.
Most dudes in the hobby are gentlemen and will bump up a point just to be kind and pay tribute to a good time.
There is a provider scale for age, intelligence and looks that differ from the real world. I think the zeal of the hobbyist may come into play as well as the marketing of the lady. Lol
That said truely beautiful people are rare but people that can push our buttons are not so rare. I completely stand behind the scores I give out. Lol lol lol
How many times do we see women the size of sofas get 9s for appearance scores?
...but they were very likely rated that way by guys that like women the size of a sofa. That's the whole point. It's subjective.
I bellied up for a drink a few months ago and woman sitting next to me, the exact opposite of what I'm into, had more sex appeal than any woman I've been around in years and I saw it before that first glass was empty.
I think of the most beautiful person I have EVER seen or met and let that person be my 10. A 10 is the absolute most beautiful person because the scale doesn't go any higher. I think if we approached it like that the numbers would be a lot lower. I personally don't want different scales for different groups of people because I can't know what a reviewer was thinking when they assigned their number. I believe that a lot of these providers getting such high ratings would not get as high a rating when lined up to a model or movie star and I don't think that should be an insult to them either. I don't expect them to rate me high compared to their ideal man either. On a scale of 1-10 a 6 is above average, but I think most reviewers consider that an insult.
I do not consider a 6 to be an insult at all. If you look it up, on the TER appearance ratings, 6 means "nice".
If I tell a woman she looks nice, I certainly don't think I have insulted her.
Many times it is stated that 6 is good because it's more than 5 which is average. However many feel a 6 is a bad rating. I think many are thinking of the school grading system where 6 equates to 60 which is a failing grade. Even a 70 which may be passing in some school systems is considered low. Very often you will see that 75 is considered average. With this as everyone's experience getting used to the idea that a 6 is above average just doesn't compute. TER attempted to overcome this with it's description of what each rate represents and yet it's very likely that providers and reviewers still fall back on there previous understanding of a "passing" grade (or rating in this case).
Consider...would it be better to have no number rating but to simply use TER's descriptor in that field on the review form?
You would have the descriptors listed in the drop down menu on the review form with out numbers and you choose which one best describes the appearance of the provider you are reviewing.
It's important to keep in mind it will still be a subjective evaluation.
The answer is yes and no (YO) I may think a girl is beautiful, while you may question if she howls at the Moon. See if the reviewers have visited ladies you've seen, then compare your impression with theirs
....any ratings for looks on here would be useless. My 10 might be your 7 and vice versa. You might rate Sophia Veraga as a 10, or maybe it's a Lindsey Vonn. You are right - we all know what a 9 or a 10 looks like, we just don't necessarily know each others!

Pax.
but it is for sure different strokes for different folks
I have had MANY doubt my appearance but I can only tell someone to come see for themselves. I do use professional pics but they are not photoshopped as some have been told and I do take care of myself. I have invested a lot of time and some money in me to look better for the guys (well the ladiesto
) Yes i am actually 42 years old (could never understand why someone would fake being 42 lol!) The guys are being nice or not? That I can not answer. All I know is, if a lady looks hot to you and she does have good reviews go see her and rate her on YOUR experience
Have fun whatever the answer may be for you
Hugs and kisses
