Over the past few days I've looked at this board, Boston board, a few other reputable websites - and it would seem to me, and this is purely anecdotal, that a rather high number of very highly regarded and established providers are announcing their retirement within the next month to 6 months. Providers, is there something going on in New England that the rest of us aren't aware of? Or has the market dried up, so to speak? Or perhaps - and I think this is the most likely explanation - the vast majority have simply decided to pursue other interests and professions? Regardless of what any of you are doing, I wish you all nothing but the best of luck and happiness of course, both those I've had the pleasure of meeting and those I've only interacted with electronically. I simply am, as always, curious (I use that word a lot, don't I?) as to why there seems to be quite a few retiring soon.
