Can anyone recommend a decent hotel that sells rooms at a daytime rate?  i.e. 10am-4pm time frame.  Early check in doesn't always work at most hotels.  I'm trying to stay away from the low budget, skanky places.  PM me

Used it several times.  Not always a wide selection but it's a good place to start.

They don't have four hour rates but you can get a great deal on a four star hotel.  Worth checking out.

Hot wire dot com on the day of, early check in is almost guaranteed to be available (I've always been able to)
Which makes sense because they wouldn't be deeply discounted unless the rooms are empty.

You can check in anytime you like but you can never leave.

Or you could try the Bates Motel.

I've used a few of their places, and the staff has always been polite and non-judgmental when I mention I booked through dayuse. They even have the Sofitel on there for under $100 so I think it's perfect for your needs.

super helpful! The cheapest rates around are definitely hot wire
