a box of baking soda, some Brillo pad and a half a dozen lighters, and pays for it with food stamps.

I wonder how many of you will have the slightest idea what I am talking about

I have mixed emotions about the "Open Carry March", I support them completely in principle,  but concede this has the potential to be a complete disaster in the making. I hope cool heads prevail both on the part of the marchers and LE. If LE draws a line in the sand and tries to forcibly disarm thousands of armed protesters, this could get really, really ugly.

I know some of you are ready for armed revolution, but I like my life, and I like this country.  I don't want to dismantle what is arguably the best country that has ever existed, even with all our faults.

The best that could happen is that the Washington D.C. police will turn them back without incident. Though, to themselves they are saying that they would be making an important point, I doubt very many others will see it that way. However, if I were an anarchist or terrorist; foreign or domestic, I would be there to shoot a couple of cops, and then there would be immense bloodshed, and the fallout would cause an even further schism between the pro-gun and the anti-gun elements, having significant political ramifications. That would be the worst case, and highly likely, scenario.

There is a choice of three different varieties of bananas, endless beer, booze and cigarettes; but no "lighters"

I adamantly support this "Open Carry March" :)
