Obama's foreign policy has been what?!!?? Let's review the highlights. The Bowing to Kings Tour. Very Presidential. Arab Spring? The Muslim Brotherhood now controls previously secular Egypt and we are sending them millions of dollars to fund terrorism. Syria is using chemical weapons on their own people. Libya was a disaster culminating in the murder of 4 Americans ( for which Obama and Hillary have been ducking for cover). North Korea is spitting in our faces, and Iran is watching this and working on their own nukes 25 hrs a day. Let's see. our best ally in the Middle East Israel can no longer rely on us. Europe's economy is crumbling before our eyes and Obama has no clue what to do. Yeah, pretty convincing.

To quote Chris Rock, not just a US President, but the worst President ever - PTA, Boys & Girls Club, Fantasy Football team, just the worst EVER. Many of you know I am a Republican, but I'm not an ignorant right wing nut job Republican (rare, I know). W cratered our economy. W spent unnecessarily on two wars after cutting taxes - meaning we had to borrow to go to wars we didn't need to go to. W badly mishandled Katrina. W essentially made it impossible for any other Bush to be in the white house (just watch 0 they'll try, but there's no way America is letting them back in).
W is so bad and so toxic, the GOP wants nothing to do with him. Usually parties will bring out their former stars during election season to help the new guys (Mitt in this case), but in the last two elections, W has been invisible - why? Because even the GOP knows the public hates him - and NONE of their candidates want to be associated with him in any way shape or form. W is the reason Carter can sleep well at night. And we all know (at least those of us who like the truth instead of made up stories) that Carter was jobbed by the Reagan team as far as the whole hostage thing goes.
Obama has not been good at all as far as the economy goes, but strangely, the super rich gave gotten richer under him (Koch brothers, Shelden Adelson) and the deficit has shrunk from $1.4 trillion in 2009 to an estimated $973 billion in 2013. He had to go on that tour to restore our reputation in the world. W made us all look like Muslim hating war mongers. As weird as this may sound, even as the most powerful country in the world, we need everyone else. The GOP likes to get on Obama because he raised taxes. Oh shut the hell up. He moved them from 35% to 39.6%! OMG! He's a socialist! Anyone with an computer knows that under the GOP God Reagan, the top tax rates were 50% for 6 of his 8 years in office. Obama's top rate is 39.6%. I know the New GOP isn't too good with math, so I'll explain that 39.6 is LESS THAN 50. History will probably show a President who did a decent job on the PR front, didn't handle the economy too well, but also a President that was torpedoed by a Congress that did everything in its power to not let him do anything.
So, to close up since I went all over the place - History will show W as the worst President EVER. Carter got screwed by the Reagan team and will no longer be the "worst" and Obama will probably not be remembered as anywhere near as bad as W. Take care, hobby safe.

Clinton was far from perfect, his sex life was completely irrelevant to me. He was a bit weak in foreign policy, but that's a lot easier to say in hindsight. As for the economy, he didn't create the dot com boom that fueled the economy under his watch, but he didn't fuck it up either, and that's high praise coming from a free market type person like me. He could have easily listened to bad advice and killed the growing economy before it ever started, but instead he listened to David Rubin and pretty much left shit alone.
I wouldn't leave him alone with my grandmother, much less my sister, but as far as running the country, I will admit he did a pretty damn good job, a hell of a lot better than the two that came after him.

Not an ounce of leadership huh? Listen, I'm not a fan of the guy at all, but he's more then handled his own: Super storm Sandy - well handled. Gabby Giffords, Aurora, Newton - all well handled. The death of Bin Laden - I thought was well handled (no gloating, we all know Cheney would have been pouring drinks for the press and W would've had a few in front of them). Is her perfect? NOPE. Does he make mistakes? YUP. But I'm much more comfortable with him than I was with W.
