How about if you can have 2 word searches: one for general and one for juicy details. Also why would you do an sql query? You must find some way to cache it. If I do a search in amazon for a book it comes back instantaneously. The basic technology is the same. I think you ought to get to work.

That, unfortunately would not make much difference. We only did our test looking for the explicit details.
Amazon has just a bit more budget than TER for technoligy. One day I hope we can afford cool stuff like that too
