I regret to inform you but the female condom only protects against Pregnancy.....nothing else. I know...I hate it, too.

I'm not sure where you get your info, but female condoms protect from pregnancy AND stds. How effective or comfortable they are is a whole different story though. I don't personally use them but know some providers who do.

you can get them at inserection BUT they are a lot more expensive. Most ladies that use them order them online.

I'm not sure if I should start a new thread for this, but here goes....  Is there any way to tactfully ask a lady if she uses female condoms?  Or does this fall under "do not ask questions of a sexual nature"?

Yes I agree. Once you are screened, things become a little easier to talk about. Lots of ladies are now getting into the FCs so I think it should be a search option here.
