The Iowa Supreme Court (all male) ruled 7-0 that an employer could fire an employee simply because he is irresistably attracted to her.
A 53 year old dentist fired a 32 year old employee who had worked for him for 10 years. There was no flirtation or sexual harassment. She thought of her boss as a father figure but he fired her because he was afraid his marriage might break up because he would eventually try to hit on his employee.
The Supreme Court ruled that it was more important for a horndog to save his marriage than the right of a woman to keep her job when she did nothing wrong.
