Wow!!!!!!  What a beautiful city.  Thank you everyone for your response.  I picked downtown to stay.  I did a little sight seeing today.  Walked to Farmer's Pike.  I loved it.  Good exercise onthe way back.  All up hill.  I have some free time tomorrow and want to check out the underground......anyone want to join me?  Hobbiest or providers.  Let me know.  I leave Thursday.

Hi,

I'm excited to be coming to Seattle next week for the first time and was wondering what area is good to stay in ? Any suggestions would be helpful and much appreciated.

xoxo,
Vivian

Welcome! Queen Anne is nice. There are a couple of Boutique hotels there.

Welcome to the Emerald City.  Hopefully you will have a completely satisfying stay.  The Downtown area is usually a good place to stay.

Welcome to our great city, Vivian!!!

I reccomend staying in Bellevue. It is central to the Microsoft campus and Expedia amongst other large corporations. It makes 'lunchtime' take on a whole new definition and is a lot more fun!!! Personally, I have been located in Bellevue for over the past 3yrs, and have had great success there... And I have a feeling you will too!
