I'm sure it will be back up soon. The domain is registered until 2016. That is, if the owner of the site hasn't died or something. It is probably down due to funds.

The ladies from TRB are here now or on another local board, such as TNA.

He may be a bit cranky from time to time, but he has done a lot for many people for many years. Without pay, I might add. (Which would make me cranky.)

All reviews posted there are now unaccessible. Which renders many ladies' websites less functional. I for one hope it comes back up, and will continue to be nice to the owners even if I feel they are a bit cranky. And will continue to send money when asked.

I agree this is a nice place though.

Rumor has it the moderator is being used in part of a larger investigation. Seattle is really cracking down and one of the bigger Seattle agencies has been under surveilence/investigation for close to two years, per several ladies that used to work there.

The reason I say this is because I have requested references from some ladies that for some reason didn't respond or if they did it was after the appt was already passed. We are the only protection that we really have against LE and Creeps. We need to stand together as a community and take care of each other, because nobody else will.

I got a reply from the mod, and he indicated he has thrown in the towel, for a combination of reasons including the cost and hassles involved with keeping the board afloat and the changing legal landscape (including Seattle's aggressive stance toward backpage, as well as problems encountered in NM by the moderator of a board that has some similarities to TRB).

I certainly can't blame him for calling it quits. But I also hope that this or another board provides the ladies and gents the enhanced safety and congeniality that TRB offered for many years. My best wishes to the mod and to all of you reading this. From the volume of posts (or lack of them) here I can only assume that many ladies and gents are suddenly feeling more in the dark and on their own than they did a few weeks ago.
