I grew up in a small country town, went to a small town church and a religious school.  Then, I started reading.  I read everything I could get my hands on, especially anything having to do with philosophy.  I went to college and expanded my world view.  Though I still consider myself a small town girl at heart (I have small town values like loyalty, integrity and kindness to your neighbor!), I have a tenacious hunger for worldly knowledge!  I love art, writing, performing, dancing, learning, loving, sensuality, faeries, trains, sunrises, gospel churches, caterpillars, jelly beans, crying to country music all alone in my car, zen, giggles, humans and life!  I can find something to like in just about anybody.  I’ve been accused more than once of being a Pollyanna, but I mostly just like things to be real.  The number one compliment I’ve ever gotten has been my eyes.  Because when I talk to you, when I’m intimate with you, when we dance, I show them to you.  I believe in being present with the people in my life, in giving them myself, even if it’s just for a short time.”
