I'm going to be moving to Florida this summer and still researching specific areas.
I've decided I want to be near my family who is in St. Pete. I haven't heard much about Sarasota as far as the Hobby goes - any thoughts?
Willing to take suggestions as well for my research. I'd love to find a place that I can meet some regular visitors to see between my travels.

You will be better off either in St. Pete or Clearwater or Westshore area of Tampa. Sarasota is sort of dead dull for hobbying.
