...a jury.  The attorneys have an opportunity to ask your views on subject matter of the case at hand.  If you're a hobbyist, you don't have to incriminate yourself, but you must tell the court that you cannot be an impartial juror.  You will be dismissed from the panel of prospective jurors.

OTOH, you may be interested in a lawsuit you can pursue - suing your brain for non-support.  You have a very good chance of winning.
