I recently saw this Japanese movie: Like Someone in Love.  I'd say it's erotic in nature, even if not explicit.

"In Tokyo, sociology student Akiko moonlights as a high-end prostitute. Her jealous boyfriend, Noriaki is suspicious, but does not know about her work.

Spoilers: 1. No sex scenes 2. Pretty bad movie, IMO, but critics thought it was pretty good, 7.6/10.  

Now, if that's a TER 7.6/10 we know it's really around a 5.6/10
