Porn Stars

Probably mirrors the death of paying for porn lol

Let's be honest, practically no one pays for porn anymore, right?  And "porn star" has morphed into an almost meaningless term anyway.  After all, if I'm a girl who shot a couple of Bang Bus scenes (just as an example), does that really make me a "porn star" in the conventional sense? Maybe. Maybe not.

There will always be a market for "high-end providers," i.e., those whose fee begins at, say, $1500/hr and above; however, the truth is that there are now literally hundreds (if not thousands) of beautiful providers in the $300-$400/hr range.  Like most things, the market (and the hobbyist consumers) are driving this phenomenon.  In short, if I can spend time with a gorgeous provider at a much lower fee, why waste my time on the porn star board?

On the other hand, that enormous pile of cash I spent for an encounter with Cytherea was worth every fuckin' penny lmao.

According to Alexa, 7.6% of all up stream traffic on TER comes from backpage.com
and the search keywords that send traffic to TER rank 'TER reviews' as the highest 'keyword' at 8.61%.

Now consider this:
According to my database there are about 2,000 porn stars today available, of which about 25% are indie and 75% are with agencies, and the average rate per hour is about $1,000.

The percentage of porn stars reviewed on TER from this pool is less than 15%...of this percentage about two-third involve porn stars who rates are below $500, and only 2 out of 10 involve porn stars above the average rates from the total pool of talent available.

When you put Alexa traffic ranking statistics with my database analysis, you get a very clear picture about why the PS Board is going to die. The only questions are, "How long it will take to die?" and "How the death will come about?"

I will just say that both will come SLOWLY.

Sincerely,
BM
