CNN;Zimmerman's wife arrested, CHARGED WITH perjury

June 13, 2012: MediaTakeOut.com is happy to announce that yesterday the wife of George Zimmerman was charged with perjury. The third-degree felony is punishable by up to five years in prison and a $5,000 . Shellie Zimmerman was released on bond. Her husband, neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman, 28, killed the Florida teenager Trayvon Martin on February 26.

Now it is alleged in court documents that Shellie Zimmerman used money transfers to hide the couple's finances as they fought for his release on bond. The arrest affidavit alleges that records show that just days before an April bond hearing for her husband, Shellie Zimmerman, 25, transferred $74,000 in eight smaller amounts ranging from $7,500 to $9,990, from her husband's account to hers.

It also alleges that $47,000 was transferred from George Zimmerman's account to his sister's in the days before the bond hearing.

What determines a mixed race persons race? Obama is always refered to as Black. Zimmerman is usualy called Hispanic. Dose that mean if you are, white + minority. Your minority race trumps your white race?

Now what if it's based off of your spouse? Obama is still Black, and now Zimmerman is White. Not that it realy makes a difference, it gets confusing. I think that situation could be real confusing for an individual, of Mixed-raced heritage.

You know in this society, we are labeled by what we look like. I'm a whole bunch of european races mixed together. that's easy because I still look white, even though I'm whole bunch of different races.

I guess none of that would matter if some lunatic shot and killed your son

News reports are suggesting that later today the authorities in Florida will announce charges against Trayvon Martin’s shooter, George Zimmerman. Coverage of this story was handled by Fox News in a manner that is revealing and offensive – and wholly unique to Fox News:







This is a journalistic lynching. And note, this is not Fox Nation. It is the mothership, Fox News. The editors at this alleged “news” network are demonstrating their overt hostility to both African-Americans and journalistic ethics. If this picture doesn’t finally establish the overarching prejudice of Fox, it’s hard to know what will. Their bias is so clearly being exercised with a zealotry that the Klan would shrink from. How do they get away with this?


This is a more impartial photo that does not disparage the victim (although it still is not as overtly cheerful as Zimmerman’s pic). You think they got a few complaints about the previous photo? They must have had a reason for changing it.


[Addendum] A couple of commenters have asserted (without proof) that the lighter picture of Trayvon was the one that was Photoshopped. Let’s say, for argument’s sake, that they are right and that the picture Fox used was not altered (at least by Fox). That does not change the fact that Fox made an editorial decision to use that picture. They had numerous pictures from which to choose of both Trayvon and Zimmerman, and they chose the most negative picture of Trayvon which they paired with the most positive picture of Zimmerman. That was not an accident. It was the result of deliberate editorial judgment. And it tells us everything we need to know about Fox’s editors.

There has also been some discussion as to whether making Trayvon look darker was inherently racist. Two points: 1) Making anyone look darker has the effect of making them look more sinister. And making the subject of a photo look more sinister, regardless of race, is blatant editorial bias. 2) Darker skinned African-Americans are not viewed more negatively by fair-minded people who are free of prejudice, but they are viewed more negatively by people predisposed to discriminate on the basis of race

George Zimmerman Was 'Jekyll And Hyde,' Former Co-Worker Says

Zimmerman, the 28-year-old Sanford, Fla., neighborhood watch volunteer who shot the unarmed 17-year-old Martin to death last month, was fired from a job securing illegal house parties for “being too aggressive,” according to the New York Daily News, which quoted a former colleague of Zimmerman’s. According to the co-worker, Zimmerman worked for two agencies that provided security for house parties from 2001 to 2005.

“Usually he was just a cool guy,” said the former co-worker, who the newspaper didn't name. “But it was like Jekyll and Hyde. When dude snapped, he snapped.” The Daily News said Zimmerman earned $50 to $100 a night for the parties. He was fired for being too aggressive with patrons.

“He had a temper and he became a liability,” the newspaper quoted the former co-worker as saying. “One time this woman was acting a little out of control. She was drunk. George lost his cool and totally overreacted,” he said. “It was weird, because he was such a cool guy, but he got all nuts. He picked her up and threw her. It was pure rage. She twisted her ankle. Everyone was flipping out.”

The new portrayal of Zimmerman comes as distinctly different images of both Martin and Zimmerman are being floated by people on both sides of the Martin killing. Zimmerman told police he shot Martin Feb. 26 in self defense after being jumped from behind. He has not been charged.

George Zimmerman's legal team and family continue to insist that the 28-year-old who killed Trayvon Martin is not a racist. But an old Myspace account peppered with derogatory insults, uncovered by the Miami Herald and confirmed to be legitimate by Zimmerman's attorney, might pose some problems in court.

Zimmerman, aka "Joe G.", last updated the page, called "Only to be King Again" in 2005. On it, he referred to criminal cases ("2 felonies dropped to 1 misdemeanor!!!!!!!!!!!"), called an ex girlfriend his "ex-hoe" (NICE), and had many lovely things to say about Mexicans:

Workin 96 hours to get a decent pay check, gettin knifes pulled on you by every mexican you run into!

Zimmerman's lawyers had ordered him to erase his social media presence — a Twitter account, website, and Myspace page under the username "datniggytb" were all taken down over the past few weeks — so we're not sure why this one is still up. (Seriously, still up as of right now, click here to see.) But hey, at least he says his "G Ma" is his role model? That's sure to go over well in court.

Zimmerman Made Disparaging Remarks About Mexicans on MySpace Page

A MySpace page has surfaced that shows Trayvon Martin shooter George Zimmerman made disparaging remarks about Mexicans and boasted about escaping from legal problems.

While the page is dated from 2005 and has not been used for some time, lawyers on both sides say the social media page could become a factor in the case against Zimmerman, who is accused of shooting the unarmed African-American teenager in Sanford, Florida, on February 26.

The page, titled, "only to be a king again," shows Zimmerman sounding off against Mexicans and celebrating his evasion of charges after a fight with a law enforcement officer.

In a possible reference to an alleged 2005 domestic violence incident, Zimmerman also uses a disparaging slang word for prostitute against his former girlfriend. Benjamin Crump, a lawyer for Trayvon Martin’s family, says the page shows Zimmerman has a history of racial profiling

Bullshit on the white president thing--as soon as a
qualified black male ran for POTUS, white voters
put him in office....You can tell black racism cause
they think only a black president represents them...
White people view Obama as representing them,
even though he is black!  Cause we don't have the strong

The rest of that clip does not represent what whites

Tim is a good speaker, but puts a spin on race stuff to make

I wonder how much money he makes doing it?  If it's alot, I'd do

COLORBLIND AMBITION: THE RISE OF POST RACIAL POLITICS AND THE RETREAT FROM RACIAL EQUITY

It was summer 2004 when most of us first became familiar with Barack Obama. Then an Illinois state senator, the U.S. senate candidate delivered the keynote address at the Democratic National Convention in Boston: the first of his many now-famous orations on a national stage. Therein he delivered several applause lines, but none were as big as when he proclaimed:

"There's not a black America and a white America and Latino America and Asian America; there's the United States of America."

Though one might welcome such a statement were it offered in the future and aspirational tense -- as a heartfelt plea for true equality -- Obama proclaimed it in the descriptive and present tense. In so doing he traded intellectual honesty for easy and predictable ovation. After all, 2004 was the same year that research from MIT and the University of Chicago found that job applicants with "white" names were 50 percent more likely to be called back for an interview than those with "black" names, even when all their qualifications were indistinguishable. And with black and brown unemployment standing at double the white rate, even as the new upstart from Chicago poured forth rhetoric professing national unity (and with the median white family possessing 8-10 times the net worth of the median black or Latino family), it should have been apparent that Obama was engaged in political science fiction rather than the description of sociological truth.

There are so many things I could talk about in the above video, but there was one thing that rang my bell immediately. I've always watched my parents and family proudly try and associate themselves with the ruling Republican elite. Like when Ronald Reagan died, my mother said, "THAT was a true love story, between Ronnie and Nancy!" as she looked up dreamily towards Heaven. Ronnie. Like he was my mother's actual friend, and she had some personal insight into that marriage because she was one of them. It was like Ronnie hisself said to her, "Clare, please stop with all this Mr. Reagan stuff, this Mr. President stuff. You and I, we is old time friends. You know you can call me Ronnie, anytime."

My family takes up the Republican cause, dissing all those homeless or jobless people and saying, "Get a job, you losers!" They do this because they suffer from the delusion that by parroting the Republican nastiness and talking points, that it instantly makes them a member of the elite and prestigious Republican club. It makes them elite too, even though they can't seem to figure out why they don't have an open invitation to any of those elite parties.

I would sit there listening to my parents pretend they're a member of this club, me, my politically ignorant self, and think, "They are being played. Used. The Republican elite doesn't give three shits about my family, except when they need to manipulate the vote to support their REAL buddies in Saudi, in corporate banking and finance, in the war industry, in the oil industry, in the insurance industry, in the pharmaceutical industry."
