Ask in your email if they have an alternate means of screening as you have no references yer. Everyone has to begin somewhere. Hopefully, they will provide another way to screen you.

But then again, not all providers are 'Newbie Friendly' as not all Hobbyists are...

Good luck.

I’m new to this and I am looking for my first encounter. What information should I include in my first email? Also I keep seeing the request for references, I haven’t met any providers yet, and I work from home. How should I handle the reference question?

Seriously,

Email the provider you have an interest in seeing, explain the facts, ask her what information she needs to satisfy her comfort level and go on from there.  If you are comfortable giving that info run with it!

Point to remember is that, interestingly enough, these ladies are not much different than you and me.  Well, except for the obvious.

Another point, relax and enjoy yourself, if you can't work things out with the first few you contact, don't worry, keep trying and keep asking questions on this Board.  You may get a few smart answers, but it's part of the fun.

Again,  Enjoy

If you stick with established providers, they will
have additional avenues available to screen and attain a level of comfort beyond just calling your employer.

After all, there has to be some form of communication and some type of evidence of what you do.

Many of the more established providers understand that some gentlemen are employed solely on their own .... &/or have an alternative type of income.

Bottom line with most is..... when they are comfortable with who you are and are convinced of your credentials they will agree to meeting with you.

Happy hobbying.... know your provider.... and her
reputation ! kisses ~Tori

I started about 3 years ago... and it is rough. sometimes you may need to use providers that do not require a reference and then the same week have them give you a reference to the provider that does.  Also, I asked a girl at a strip club your same question when I got started and she said she would give me a reference.

If you live in an area with a TER Regional Board, you can post your situation (newbie, no references, work from home, so employment verification won't work), asking if there are any providers willing to work something out with you.  This frequently happens on the Phoenix board, and you'd be surprised how many of the top ladies, and reputable agencies reply saying give me/us a call.

If you choose this verification by other means route, keep these points in mind:

1)  You will be asked for your real name, home address, home phone, work phone etc.  It is up to you to decide if the risk/reward ratio you are comfortable with.

2)  You work from home?  Is this your business, do you have a website?  These days that is the equivelent of a bricks and motar address.  Is there a a means for her to contact you discreetly at your business?

3)  You are going to have to trust in her descretion while she checks you out!  Tori gave great advice, stick with established, well reviewed ladies, in my book well reviewed means she is on at least her 2nd page of reviews AND the majority of her reviewers have submitted at least 10 reviews!!!

Thank you everybody for your advice. I have set up my first appointment with a well established provider. And I'm sure all will go well.
