She actually WAS well-reviewed.  I don't see providers unless they are well-reviewed (I had enough negative experiences TOFTT when I was a pup of a hobbyist).

She burned me because she was desperate, I think.  When she asked me to pick up the hotel room, it was clear that she was desperate, and call it the softy in me, but I believe in helping people out when they're in need, and I'm in a position to do so.

If her reviews hadn't given her a reputation of reliability, I probably wouldn't have done so, however.  But they did, and so I thought there would be no reason not to help.

I did hear from her.  She claimed that they hadn't skipped out on the bill - but a second call to the hotel revealed that this was, in fact, not the case.

So I have, as the Irish would say, written her name down and struck a line through it.
