....It's " same shit every 30 min "......WTF
The article comes from U.S.A.Today from a demographic study coming from the notable Cook Political Report concerning the House of Reps. Why do I throw the word "Christian" into the mix ? Because minortity Whip Eric Cantor is the only Jewish congressional GOP member.
What does this portend for the election ? Hard to say, but house polarization bound to get worse ( if such a thing possible )
Lastly, I'll betcha all these dudes big LImbaugh-Fox News fans------
------LMFAO !
Caveat. These figures are estimates, but if you don't like my guess, figure it out yourself. The principle is still valid.
That said:
The counry is pretty evenly split at close to 50/50
Half the population female. That means to get close to 50% of the general population, there would have to be about 90% GOP among men.
Going on, racially, a huge portion of the US is Hispanic, Black, Asian, or other.
Using hypothetical numbers, if 8% is Black, then the 50% male, drops to 46% non-black male.
Now minus Hispanic males, minus Asian males.
Religiously the same between Jewish, Hindu, Budhist, etc.
Minus Jewish males. Minus the others
The percent of the population that consists of white Christian males is far below the number of people who are non-Dem
If you deduct women, and men from all the groups mentioned above, white Christian males cannot constitute the percent of the population that corresponds with GOP.
But of course you - and the other dems - need to make it a race war. I don't know how many other posts you had about the same honky, christian males, but us dumb hicks from da sticks are breeding iwth our sisters like rabbits cuz we just a bunch of toothless crackers.
Sincerely,
A Hebe GOP. Ooops I should not exist. +

15% Hispanic; these figure are extemperaneous so don't have figures for Asian %.
Phil riddle me this---why is 86% of GOP in congress composed of White Christian males ? Why do minority groups feel GOP is hostile to them ?
Lastly, you never answered Q I posed to you in below link :
"Why do minority groups feel GOP is hostile to them?
I would say that, for over a hundred years, one reason being, the Dems have been vociferously pounding into minority group's heads that the GOP hates them. Since LBJ's "Great Society" movement, it has only become more aggressive and preposterous. Who's gonna cut Social Security, who's gonna cut Medicare, who's gonna throw your grandparents out into the streets, eating dog food, who's gonna take away your kids school lunches, and on and on, ad infinitem? Any of this shit ever happen....fuck no, but the dems keep up their mantra, hoping to keep minority groups thinking it will.
You quibble over numbers. I think I said I was estimating and using it as a hypothetical, but the principle applied regardless of the exact number
In any event, if in fact Black is more and Hispanic is 15, then it is even harder for GOP to be all white males.
As to your questions, unequal demographics don't equal racism. In the 40's to 70's a hugely disproportionate number of Broadway lyricsts were Jewish. That doesn't mean that the ticket buying public was anti-Christian. At UCLA, a hugely disproportionate number is Asian. That doesn't mean there is anti-white in admission.
As to hostility: You have 99% of Blacks murdered by Blacks (again guestimate), and one white kills a black, and Maxine Waters and Sharpton scream for months "There is a war against Black men. It is open season," Maybe that explains it
Maybe it explains it when NBC edits a tape to make the motive look racist.
Also, there is a "racial" memory. Jews still think the GOP is composed of the same group it was in 1945. A family member was talking about GOP not liking Jews and he mentioned Henry Ford and Lindberg. Really.
The Dems scream racist because they have to scare people. It is like I have said, I have never experienced GOPs who hate Jews, but all my family thinks that the half the nation goes around hating Jews and if the Dems lose they will expell them from Harvard
Gore once said that teh GOP wants to reduce Blacks to 2/3rds of the vote. Yeah. That was on the platform.
The poison "War on Women," repeated by dozens of Dems and all that.
I have said the Dems spread hate and fear and I believe that
Finally, I couldn't connect to the link.
Phil riddle me this---why is 86% of GOP in congress composed of White Christian males ? Why do minority groups feel GOP is hostile to them ?

"WTF-----If I were a criminal defense lawyer who was repulsed by representing gangbangers/drug dealers maybe I'd feel the same as you. But I'm not, so I don't.
You've candidly admitted a "conservative conversion" that you've had over the last 35 years------if that was the case, why didn't you work for the D.A.'s office or become a prosecuting attorney ?
Not to be a schmuck, phil, but you do sound "conflicted"
It isn't only the fact that I see gang bangers up close. I read in the L.A. Times about a Black baby shot by a stray bullet. I see on the news of a shooting in Compton where a college bound black girl is the first in her family to go to college. Over the years I encountered countless deaths on the news.
I hear "there's a war on Black men," and "it's open season on Black youth," and I know who is really killing them.
You ask a very good question as to why don't i work of the D.A. That is a 9 to 5 job, and I want the freedom I have working for myself. I have always had a lot of outside interests that I couldn't follow as much if I had a full time job where I had to clock in.
I am not conflicted. Although my clients mostly deserve prison, they still deserve a fair trial. While I disagree with some of the legal procedures (e.g. mindless application of the hearsay rule when the purpose isn't involved), as long as they exist, my clients should get the benefit from it.
There were three cases that I lost and even took pro bono to the next level, for which I don't get paid, because I thought the deserved to have the law properly applied. One was guilty, and I won. I hate his crime, but don't regret having made sure the law was handed down fairly.
It is like a tax deduction. I don't approve of some deductions, but I take them if they are offered.
One last analogy, a congressman, whom I forget, was once asked about pork barrel projects. he said (something like) if they were going to spend a fortune to send a crew to the Mars to see if there was blue cheese there, he would fight it like hell. But if it were approved he would fight to get it in his district.
Does that answer your question
You've candidly admitted a "conservative conversion" that you've had over the last 35 years------if that was the case, why didn't you work for the D.A.'s office or become a prosecuting attorney ?

IF a Judge tosses Zimmerman's case out, or IF a jury acquits him, fine by me. People ( particulary the Black community ) are gonna have to peacefully abide with the decisions of the legal system.
My only beef was I thought it a miscarriage of justice that Zimmerman wasn't initially arrested & charged with a felony.
I knew they would have to charge him with something. I don't knw what happened, but it is a jury type case.
I don't care when they arrest people.
Jail before trial should only be for flight risk. No need to punish until conviction. If there is an acquital, it is hard to get back your six months lost.
I don't mind a rush to let things cool, so I didn't mind the delay.
I HATED the rhetoric. "They're shooting black boys down like dogs.........."
You want to know why Blacks flock to the Dems, it is that hate speech.
My only beef was I thought it a miscarriage of justice that Zimmerman wasn't initially arrested & charged with a felony.
however, Al Sharpton & Jesse Jackson are just as bad, all of them rabble-rousing demagogues.
show me one tape where Rush (who I don't listent to) says anything as bad as Sharpton falsely accusing someone of rape. (I ask for a tape because Rush is misquoted a lot, whereas the Twana Brawley is well-documented.)
Or how about one verifiable quote from Hannity saying somehting like they are shooting whites down in the street, or it is open season on whites.
Also, Rush is not a "community leader."
No one says, "Limbaugh, a spokesman for white people......"
OT - Why are there spokesmen for Blacks and who appoints them. Jackson is described as a Black spokesman. Does he speak for Condi Rice.
Also, you did a nice morph of subjects. The topic, if I recall was the honky christian nature of GOP, although I did respond to things you said, you have switched topics.
an idiot like you.
You constantly posting comments about the "White Male Christian Party" makes you the most racist roster on this board. No, not the "most objective" as you claim to be, but the most racist.
....It's " same shit every 30 min "......WTF
is the real racist on the board?
me thinx he doth sling the label toooooooo much on others.....to deflect his own predilictions?
........to personal attacks.
Now speaking of demographics, I was grocery shopping
yesterday and saw a young Hispanic woman with three small children in tow plus a fresh bun cooking in the oven(pregnant). I smiled to myself and thought the future of the Democratic party looks really bright!
"I smiled to myself and thought the future of the Democratic party looks really bright!"
Presumption such as that is foolhardy. Imagine if you would for a moment, how large the Dem party base would be if 45,000,000 fetus's had not been aborted since Roe v Wade.
This is what we call the Democrats secret weapon!
Here are a few facts: 2010 Census data......
Currently, 50.5 million Hispanics live in the United States (roughly 16 percent of its 308.7 million population), a significant increase from the 35.3 million Hispanics in the country in 2000. The 15.2 million difference accounts for more than half of U.S. population growth during that same time period.
Every 30 seconds a Latino turns the age of 18! There are about 11 million Latinos over the age of 18 who are U.S citizens and not yet registered to vote. 2.4 million of them reside in Texas, 2.2 million reside in California.
In the South, for instance, the Hispanic population grew by 57 percent between 2000 and 2010, while overall population growth in the region during that same time period was only 14 percent. In the Midwest, the Hispanic population grew by 49 percent, more than 12 times the population growth of all other groups during that period. Hispanics doubled or more in population size in 912 of the United States' 3,143 counties. Only six of those counties showed negative percent change in the Hispanic population.
As the Hispanic population grows, it also moves outside city borders. The top five fastest growing counties, in terms of Hispanic population, were Luzerne, Penn. (479 percent change); Henry, Ga. (339 percent change); Kendall, Ill. (338 percent change); Douglas, Ga. (321 percent change); and Shelby, Ala. (297 percent change). States where the Hispanic population doubled in size from 2000 to 2010 include Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and South Dakota, hardly bastions of bi-coastal liberalism.
In practical political terms, such growth indicates that the structure of elections will become fundamentally different. Whereas the suburbs have served as traditional battlegrounds for national or statewide campaigns, over time, the competitiveness of those locales will change. As the minority population grows outside the cities, the pool of physical land over which the two parties will compete may shrink and this could spell complete disaster for the Republicans in upcoming elections.
voting age 50.5 million hispanics are voting democrat? Check your demographics again. Hispanics are, by a large majority, pro-life, family oriented, religious church goers, hard workers, no tendency to easily accept welfare programs, etc. Does that sound like the democrats' base voters? My SO has 11 siblings in her family of black/hispanic origin. A small number agreed, but they are all registered republicans. The majority of her friends also vote republican. Cubans in south Florida historically vote for the republican candidate. Now days, the dems shouldn't take the hispanic vote for granted....just might backfire on them.
