I had to look all this information up.
Here it goes:
1. How many people work for TER? (Paid or unpaid)?
It is hard to give you and accurate number because we are in the process of expanding to accommodate all the new members. We hope you understand the growing pains we are going though. TER has always grown but recent publicity (both good and bad) have caused our inbound traffic (people checking out TER) to increase by 80%. We are also hiring more people to man a 24 / 7 customer support center that will better serve the needs of our customers.
2. How many people approve reviews, and how are they chosen?
We try to cross-train everyone in customer support to do every task they cover. We do not necessarily have a set number of people doing “reviews” because the workload varies from day to day. The more that come in, the more manpower we dedicate to them.
3. How many people work on "Problem Reports"?
See number #2
4. How are Moderators chosen and what's the criteria?
We watch how they act as participants on the board. If they show strong leadership and intelligence in their posts, we may ask them if they would be interested. They are then interviewed. If we feel comfortable with them at this point they are trained and become moderators.
5. Do most Mods have other jobs?
Since they are not financially compensated by us in any way, I hope they do.
6. Why do moderators change on some boards and why?
Based on customer feedback, we sometimes redeploy moderators where we believe they would be best suited.
7. Have you considered adding European cities to boards?
We would love too once we have more European traffic. Nothing is worse then having boards for every city in the world and no posts on them.
8. How many people log on to TER on an average day?
Normally a little over 350,000 people come to TER per day. Traffic statistics for 2/30/06 showed this number shot up to over 500,000 visitors. Much of this due to the posting of the MSNBC article I did an interview for last month. I would like to personally thank the people who have been really helping us by posting links to this article on so many of our competitors’ message boards. Though they got the facts wrong (I will posts details in a couple of days), they exposed TER to literally hundreds of thousands of people who may have never even read the articles on MSNBC or may have never heard about us.
9. Roughly how many providers have been reviewed on TER?
A little over 70,000 providers are reviewed on TER in over 450,000 reviews. (WOW!)
some of these things at one time or another:

TER is a great site and I'm sure many will find your answer's of interest! Thanks!
All moderators are volunteers (not employees) of
TER. So as far as other jobs (tasks) within TER
the answer is they have none. They do nothing
other than approve or disapprove moderated
posts and to moderate or unmoderate poeple.
Moderators are invited to moderate a board.
Hope that helps.

... but not entirely accurate.
It was interesting up until this post. Did you flunk debate class in Junior High School.
Dah Dude
Service Category / Excluding Bad Websites / Including Bad Websites
All / 17,729 / 48,038
Escort / 15,983 / 42,302
Massage / 1,561 / 5,793
S&M / 504 / 1,002
The above are TER profiles. The totals for the
categories add up to more than the All category
because some providers provide more than one
service category.
Also, keep in mind there are some duplicate
profiles which are waiting to be corrected via
problem reports .
How about leaving it for Staff to answer?
This way we are 100% sure what we read is reliable and accurate.

...how many are women who like bald men. I'll be there's got to be at least 6.
Assuming only 10 percent were women each day and that 2 in ten women love bald men, it follows that you are in hog heaven.
Since I have shared this information back channel, I see no reason not to make it public.
4. How are Moderators chosen and what's the criteria?
[Staff's answer]
We watch how they act as participants on the board. If they show strong leadership and intelligence in their posts, we may ask them if they would be interested. They are then interviewed. If we feel comfortable with them at this point they are trained and become moderators.
[The truth]
I have no idea how GND qualified but male TER moderators must look like Brad Pitt and be hung like Mr.Ed (the horse, not the TER member from L.A.)
5. Do most Mods have other jobs?
[Staff's answer]
Since they are not financially compensated by us in any way, I hope they do.
[The truth]
While it is true that we are not compensated by TER, recently we have been given the opportunity to purchase surplus government cheese at a discount.
Somebody had to step up and tell you.
thirsty
They must think the sun shines out from your behinds. :o(
When I became a Mod, I didn't unmoderate myself. (I guess I knew enough to not trust myself.
Finally Girl Next Door told me, "you know you can unmoderate yourself right?"
Oh well...
thirsty
I sometimes have my posts taken down by GND, but I don't blame her, I can be a real asshole sometimes!
Once I went back and moderated myself on my own board 'cuz I said something stupid...
Well, you are cute! Even without 'em!
On the Moderators' board, I wrote, "Very Funny."
Everyone denied doing it, but one mod said I probably had it coming.
