If there is security just meet your company downstairs and slip them a key and go up separate .

Anyone know if luxor has security to get up to the rooms? I'll be there for work with co-workers for CES and don't want to be seen going up to the room with "lady friends". Also how are the premier tower suites?

Out of the 4 visits I've had at the Luxor, twice my date had to come down for me because I couldn't get past security. Most hotels that usually are sans elevator security beef it up during busy times.

Will the security be just as bad during AVN? It will be my first time visiting the area. So, I'm gathering as much information as possible.

Yes. Lots of security during AVN. The crowds that week are pretty rowdy so security tightens up at the hotels. Personally I've seen security even at the Rio during high traffic times. I've never seen security at MGM though. That place is always a zoo and seems pretty lax on security. Another note for traveling ladies. When the hotels are busy they only allow parking (at some strip garages) by hotel guests. I have shown up at Flamingo and at Quad and been denied garage access without a key. This makes a visit from your local gents complicated because they cannot get parking

Thank you for sharing that. It's definitely something to take into consideration.

Since it's tight on security and no parking available, would mostly outcall be in demand

Well I didn't say there is no parking at all, just at some hotels with smaller garages. Off hand I can think of a few, Flamingo, Quad, and Comwell. My experience has been that visiting girls do more incall because they get a chance to visit with our local guys who are looking for something new. Us Vegas girls have a higher demand for outcall because guys who are visiting  have been swooning over the Vegas ladies for some time waiting to get a chance to come out here to meet us. To be honest a lot of visiting ladies are a little disappointed with touring here. I know when I used to tour here from Florida this was one of the worst places for me. Most of the time I would get just a couple of appointments and make the trip a vacation. It was nothing like touring in NYC or Chicago. The locals in those towns kept me busy. Now that I LIVE here business is great. I rarely see locals but instead I see the guys I used to see when I toured other cities.
I hope you have a good experience here. It will depend greatly on how many local guys you can get and if anyone from your fan club is visiting when you are here.

I rented a room there for a photo shoot.  It was VERY affordable compared to other BASIC rooms I stay at when traveling;  in fact, I remember thinking it was the rate of a standard room.

It was an okay/nice room (not luxurious imo, just more room to sprawl about) but the hotel/casino is quite outdated and I could smell the mold/mildew embedded in the flooring and walls.  Also, I'm big on staying in a cool room (temperature wise--lighting with photo shoots gets a model hot!) and I remember being uncomfortably warm in there.

Seeing as you'll be staying in the cooler months, the temperature shouldn't be much of a concern and hopefully the mold/mildew odors will stay at bay since it's not so hot outside.

Enjoy!

I was looking fwd to staying in this suite but now not so much lol. Thanks for the info

I didn't mean to be a Debbie Downer!  :(
It's a "nice" and "affordable" larger room compared to others in Vegas, but, as I said, the mold/mildew and not-so-functional A/C unit turned me off.  If you're spending minimal time in the room and don't have allergies or skin sensitivities, you'll probably be just fine.

Holiday hugs and happy new year!

I like hearing things straight up and not with sugar on top ;-) lol

there is no security or key required to enter the elevator, but considering the high volume of people during January they will have additional security patrolling, don't me alarmed when you enter the room and you smell mold its somewhat an outdated hotel.

Stayed there once in the upgraded tower, a couple years back,  not in the pyramid

Tower required a key card. Don't know about the pyramid.
Sometimes its easy for a lady to get up to a floor if its busy but you should be willing to meet her or get her a key..

I stayed somewhere last week where I had a fellow provider visit me but because the elevators were a hasslekey at the front desk as we are friends.... Often places now have a security guard making sure you have a key...I saw some ladies trying to get for a particular floor having issues...
