Trump and Mandarin are the best.

Hello TER,

I have a hot job lead for a position in North Las Vegas. I was thinking about renting a unit in one of the luxury condos near the north strip area. I'm a single guy in my 40's and my budget is up to about $2800/month. Specifically, I am considering the following properties:

Turnberry Towers
Turnberry Place
Sky
Metropolis

I'd also consider mid-strip or south strip places if there is easy freeway access. Does anyone know about these condos and can offer pros/cons of each? I figure a number of providers must live there or nearby, which is fine by me.  :-

Much better locations and more happening for a single guy in their 40's with a budget of $2,800 a month.

Turnberry Place is nice but the avg. age seems to be 70+ whenever I've been there... Sky is fun but the location isn't all that great to be within walking distance of the main attractions. Metropolis and Turnberry Towers are in horrible locations IMO.

Hotties are at Veer, Panorama and Sky from what I've seen. Easiest access to the I-15 to get to North Las Vegas is probably Panorama or Sky. Veer Towers in CityCenter can be a pain in the arse to get in and out of to / from the I-15 but it is located smack dab in the middle of everything and has a good social scene going on. I have a friend that lives at Veer and the monthly happy hour parties in various locations of CityCenter are always a good time along with the annual New Years Eve party on the rooftop.

Always nice to visit him and be able to walk to / stumble back from Cosmo, PH and just about everywhere else. No need for a car there except to drive to work and go grocery shopping.

Hope that helps...

Hi I agree with Ivchi, on the places and yes plenty of Hotties also lol, the only concern with Veer is there might be some congestion with traffic on weekends or a convention week since your in the middle of the happening scene. Plus both are guard gated secure communities like Fort Knox.
