Forgot about Marcus Allen.  I was thinking of Desmond Howard - 1991 Heisman and 1997 Super Bowl MVP.

There are six United Staes Universities that have produced starting NFL Quarterbacks ( one school two) and United Staes Presidents not he same person and not in school at the same time. Looking it up is easy name the six schools, the quarterbacks and the presidents could be all the way from GW to present and no Barack is not one of them. Have fun got me many drinks at many different bars.

I know of one

The Naval Academy - Starting QB Staubach and President Jimmy Carter.  I know that the easy one LOL

good answer who waqs the second super bowl winning qb who went to Stanford and was a number one pick overall?

That's easy, Jim Plunkett

Plunkett was one of only two Heisman winners to also win Super Bowl MVP.  Who was the other?

1981 Heisman Winner and 1984 Super Bowl MVP Marcus Allen

Absolutely!  GO BLUE!!!

Correct there are severn qb's hint they all won at least one superbowl. Second clue Tom Brady and Gerald Ford Michigan

I am still trying to figure out the first QB/Presidents but I got one

Miami of Ohio, Ben Harrison and Big Ben Rosthelburger (SIC)

CYNIC14965 reads

OK, that's 5.  Michigan, Stanford, Columbia, Miami of Ohio and Navy.  I guess there's one more, but I'm too tired to think about this now.

US naval academy Roger Staubach and Jummy Carter

Technically, there are likely more than your riddle suggests... Ryan Fitzpatrick started a game for the Bengals in 2008... drafted out of Harvard, which also was POTUS' Adams (both), Roosevelt (both), and JFK.  Jason Garrett started nine games with the Dallas Cowboys, he went to Princeton as did JFK (transferred to Harvard), James Madison, and Woodrow Wilson.

CYNIC16271 reads

The US Naval Academy is more commonly known as Navy, and was previously mentioned.

you mean Super Bowl winning qb's, not just starting qbs, right?

CYNIC14715 reads

Well, if that's what he means:

1. MICHIGAN - Brady and Ford

2. STANFORD - Elway, Plunkett and Hoover

3. MIAMI OF OHIO - Roethlisberger and Harrison

4. NAVY - Staubach and Carter

Anybody else?

How about Occidental College --Jack Kemp and Barack Obama.

CYNIC16547 reads

Obama went to Columbia.

He went to Occidential for two years and transferred to Columbia

I thought he went to Devry or ITT Technical College to learn how to fix refrigerators. I must have been mis-informed or according to Roger Clemons, I may have "mis-remembered."

CYNIC14060 reads

But he GRADUATED from Columbia, and that's what counts for this purpose.  No matter, Kemp never played in a Super Bowl anyway.

The Super Bowl was only in existance for two or three years of his career. He played for the Bills from 62 to 69. It's not like he had a whole lotta shots at it.

Tusayan13838 reads

The original post didn't make any mention of graduating or the Super Bowl.  It only asked to name universities that had produced  starting NFL QBs and Presidents.   The only question with Occidental is that Kemp played his entire career in the AFL prior to the merger, even though the NFL has  adopted those records.

CYNIC15939 reads

Yes, but it revolved into naming schools that produced a President(s) an a Super Bowl QB.  True, no mention was made of graduating a school, but it's the school you graduated from that one is invariably tied to and associated with.  While Kemp quarterbacked championship Bills teams, there was no Super Bowl when he did it, and it was in the AFL.  If only attending a school matters, then Occidental would count for Obama and Kemp as a starting QB ONLY IF you consider the AFL as counting as an NFL team.  On both counts, therefore, Occidental is somewhat tenuous.
