The difference is, my "diatribes" are not based on bigotry, as yours are.

Your denial of bigotry against Islam reeks of hypocrisy, given the content of so many of your prior posts.  My posts have ALWAYS been about the specific actions of individuals.  Whatever you may think of my particular views, I have never condemned an entire people, or religion, or nationality, or sexual preference, or political stripe, with the brush of bigotry.   You certainly HAVE done this with Moslems, and prior to that, with gays, and certainly with Liberals and Democrats.

I judge individual people by their particular actions.  My distaste for the Bush Administration has nothing to do with the fact that they are Conservative Republicans, but rather, the specific craven actions and lack of integrity shown by individuals in carrying out their jobs, and they are corrupt, and contemptuous of the Brave American lives that they are squandering in Iraq for their own interests.  And they have no respect for the truth, when it stands in the way of their agenda.  There are a great many Conservative Republicans whom I admire, and would be proud to have as my leader, who are men of integrity and character (unlike George W. Bush).  Off the top of my head, I'd name John McCain, Richard Lugar, Chuck Hegel, John Warner, and Thomas Keane, as well as Bob Dole and Gerald Ford in the senior set, among others.  These are TRUE conservatives, who respect the values of the Constitution, and who understand the ramifications of playing fast and loose with the truth, and would never take the nation to war simply over political gain.
