I have long nails that take lots of abuse. Twice I tried to grow mine with gel products and both times my nails started breaking. Did some research only to find gel was not any better for your nails than acrylic. Now I have ten perfect nails again with a coating of acrylic to make them stronger. I do use the gel polish at times and it lasts till I take it off. Been doing a lot of planting and weeding the last month and not one broken nail.
