I can overlook certain performance issues when I am really turned on by a provider's appearance. For instance, I have seen providers who are not exactly GFE or have given up an acronym or two for the sake of eye candy.
If I am not turned on by her appearance, I may as well stay home.
My performance can be more important then hers and can relate directly to appearance.

I am also not looking for a connection that either does not really exist or is only in my mind. That 20 year old hottie and I have no connection in reality.
