been outed. This was 3 years ago and it was done by a regular who I found out was doing BBFS with anyone who would let him. Apparently he secretly video taped me during one of our times together and got mad that I wouldn't see him anymore.... so he popped up some freeze frames, altered the pictures and posted it (my face) on one of the bottom feeder sites. He didn't realize that I would know it was him based off the background. He got banned from everywhere and it was removed. Very obvious that the video was done without my consent.
I take great care in keeping this separate from my real life and I think it is crazy that a few guys go BSC because we chose not to continue seeing them. Yes, some of us providers get threatened with outings or fake bad reviews because we refuse to see a BSC guy. I know this is actually quite typical behavior on the part of a few guys. Many girls do get threatened for refusing to see a guy.
My outing was contained and did not affect my life. I was very upset when this happened. I actually go out of my way to be nice/friendly/understanding etc during my meetings in the hobby (vs putzing on the boards or how I "can" be in real life), so it really hurt when this happened.
People need to learn that the hobby is not something to be obsessed over. It is meant to enjoy and go on our merrie way.
That the legion of women who have been outed or threatened by clients, greatly exceeds that of clients who have been outed or threatened by escorts.
Almost any escort who has been in the business for any significant amount of time has experienced an outing/stalking or something similarly scary or catastrophic.
That's EXACTLY why we screen...although, even that doesn't always prevent issues. That's that nature of the beast (for us).
For the average hobbyist, it seems like more of an oddity to experience any threats at the hand of an escort. But I've heard of it happening, in some dramatic instances as well as some subtler ones (soft pressure for a 10-10 review, etc).
One threatened to because she didn't like how honest I was in my TER review of her. I was able to mollify her by softening the review and admitting that I had unrealistic expectations just to get her off my back.
