and yes, screening is very similar to being screened for an appointment, and women must be screened as well. Most hosts take the security and privacy of their guests VERY seriously, or they won't be hosting many more events of this kind.
M&G's can be great fun, especially if you have a creative host. I hosted one once and had it during the daytime as a crawfish boil, a great time was had by all. I think it lasted about 18 hours. We started with food and drinks at about noon and the last people finally left about 6 AM.

They usually offer an open invitation on the M&G board, with a post on their regional board telling people to look on the M&G board for information. You then submit screening information to them so they can verify you just like screening you for a date with a provider, or researching a provider. If you pass screening, they will put you on the invite list so when the party details are given out, you will get it.
The guys normally pay a set fee and the ladies get in free. The guys may get a couple of free drinks. When it actually takes place, it's just a cocktail party with people of like interest.
