I used to work for a Bait/Switch agency. I constantly got sent out on calls knowing I was not what they wanted. The owners point of view was, that if the client was horny enough he would just see whoever showed up, if not he would have to pay the cancellation fee. (Oh and BTW, the agency got 50. of the cancellation fee, the driver got 25 and the girl got 25.)

Later, once they got a website, they used stock photos of models from Europe that they bought on line.

Their rate was 175. for the hour. The service got 80. You had to give the phonegirl 10. the diver 25. and you got the rest a whopping 60. and you had to pay all the tolls, the gas and tip the driver at the end of the night.

In order to make money you were encouraged by the agency to upsell. Do you know how many times I was scared for my life trying to explain to a 6ft tall 250lb  pissed off guy that everything was extra?

I tried and tried to explain to the owner that if they had a set price for everything with no upsell and real pictures and descriptions on the website they would do much more business and the girls would stay and not quit after a few days. He thought he knew everything and told me that was stupid and everyone knows, this is how to run a service.

I swore that if I ever ran my own service I would do it the way I told him to and guess what? I did it.

His service (Dangerous Curves aka Paradise Entertainment) is no loger around but 13 years later, RSG is still here.

I know for a fact that After Dark, The Belladonna, Down City Divas and Nina's are all 100% real and ALWAYS reputable. The others I mentioned have a pretty good reputation so I assumed that they are all honest as well.

As a rule of thumb, you should always check reviews first, if you cant find any, thats usually a bad sign, but if you are still not sure, just ask on the local board.

Called a local agency last night and was told a beautiful blonde would knock on my door. Almost 2 hours later a very chubby Spanish girl showed up. She was very sweet but I had zero interest. She told me that the agency gave her the address and told her to come. She said it took her over an hour to get to my house and that she had to pay her driver. She asked for a $100 cancellation fee. My calls to the agency went unanswered. While I felt no obligation to give her anything, it seemed that she was duped as much as I was. I felt bad for her and gave her $50. Many times I've had a different girl show up then I'd expected, but this wasn't even remotely close. Should I have given her anything? The money is not a problem and I don't blame the girl but I'm still somewhat peeved.

although, I think I'd have given her the $100 that she asked for. Your gripe is with the agency, not the lady, but you already know that. If I were you, I'd keep calling the agency until they answered. In my opinion, they are responsible for the $50 that you already forked over, and should make good on it for a future appointment. (with the lady you ask for)

You assume that the agency owner cares. Ripoff agencies abound. I know that some that post pictures of escorts that work in London and the Czech Republic. The european ladies have no reason to want to set foot in the States.

You can not avoid dealing with bad agencies or providers at some time. They multiple like rats. Review services are useless against them because as soon as bad reviews become a problem for them, they change names and phone numbers. Focus on giving your business to reliable agencies and providers.

Frankly, after taking a quick glance at your reviews and the fact that you said "many times i've had a different girl show up then expected" i would say you might want to try a different approach entirely!

I mean, dude, we have the greatest data base of girls and agencies and this thing happens more than once?  If money is not a problem then you should be able to get 10/10's at your door every time..lol!

It's happened many times? I hope it hasn't since you discovered TER.

In any case, you're better off paying a cancelation fee, if you get ripped off. It's not worth the money to perhaps have cops show up for a disturbance.

The agency was escorts on the move. I know there are some great agencies and indys out there. I'm just old fashioned and call from the phonebook half the time. Escorts on the move have been around a long time. I've used them a few times without this much of a problem.....for the last time.

Nothing good comes from the phone book! Well, we all go through a learning curve. I got lucky because the first place I found was a B&S place, but I found out through TER before I made an appointment.

I think you did the gentlemanly thing, I believe that if the person who shows up is not who you were expecting then gas money is all you should give them. If she were an indy and misrepresented herself then not even that.  I understand the woman did not know you were told someone else would be coming, however, it seems to me it is probably not the first time it has happened and she should know if she is affiliating herself with this agency that they conduct their business in this manner so she must be aware that she could be sent away, so to me asking for 100 is way too much.

I really don't care to see an accurate picture of a lady beforehand, but at least an honest description. As long as the lady is attractive, personable, and friendly when she arrives, I'm happy. I've used that agency for a long time, which made me comfortable. I've been ordering girls since way before the Internet, and honestly am surprised that any girls show there real pictures. But at least don't send me the opposite of what I'm looking for, ask me to pay, and then don't answer my call. Not the way to treat a repeat customer.

hmm  maybe it is time you tried another agency...I have heard good things about room service.  Not putting any other agency down, just room service is the only one that I have seen people from and always heard good things.

I have never seen "escorts on the move" anywhere. BUT a fast google of it comes up with bad reviews.

Of course the agency knows what they are doing. Maybe the girl does too, but I don't know that as fact. I'm sure she didn't travel to see me with plans to be turned down. Agencies telling lies to there girls to make a buck is nothing unusual, even for the good ones.  A lot of these girls are vulnerable and are taken advantage of. I'd rather be taken for a sucker just a little bit, rather than make it harder for a girl who already has it tough. And as a man, I always answer the door.

Of course she knows what going on as I'm sure that she gets the same response at every door.  Pretty profitable though, 10 times a day maybe the cancellation fee or part of it, works out to $500-1000 daily, if the guy says the hell with it and does her even more.  180-360K annually and you wonder why these bait and switch and rip-offs thrive.  If they weren't making money they would disappear.

Sometimes maybe, but some of these older, smaller agencies get most of there business from the phonebook. Someone, like myself occasionally, may just call up and ask for a pretty girl. I've talked to a lot of girls and they get very frustrated at being sent  to someone that doesn't want them. They wouldn't show up knowing that they will only get a cancellation fee, especially if they have a driver to pay. I don't think any girl in the business, scam artist or not, looks to make a living off cancellation fees. A girl may sometimes have the idea that it could happen, but it's not what they are hoping for, or expecting. The agency is to blame all of the time; the girl, not usually.

I disagree. I have met ladies that know what is happening and look forward to the cancellation fee or upselling at enormous rates. Bad agencies stack client calls up, having clients that call late wait. With modern GPS, a lady with a driver can do four-five cancellation fee calls in an hour. If she clears $50 for each one, she makes 200-250 for the hour having done nothing but drive around. The practice is lucrative for those practicing it. The agencies ultimately go out of business, but if one pays attention the same players show up with another name and phone number.

Yes, a lot of girls know what is going on, very true. But don't tell me it happens every time. The agency in question gets most of it's business from the phonebook, so no pics are involved. They also don't get enough business so that the girls can go around collecting 4 cancellation fees per hour. That is absurd. I live an hour from Boston. All I'm saying is that I don't know for a fact that the girl traveled an hour to my house, knowing that she wasn't what I was looking for. Rather than assuming she was in on it, I gave her the benefit of the doubt, and gave her $50.

Funny thing, they have the same models on their website and the same phone number as  Boston Pussycats (A well known bait and switch service) and also a service called Angels of Boston which is also fake, but they have gone even further by posting pictures of some well known providers in Boston as working with them. They have Aussie Rebekkah and Deja as girls who work for their fake service.

Why when there are so many legit services with real girls who have their real picture on the sites, have reviews and don't ever upsell, would you ever use a service like that?

You are obviously a member of TER, so why would you ever waste your hard earned money like that?

I've been bait & switched by both Tempu and Premiere Elite.  Not as blatantly as some, but.  There are very few, ALWAYS reliable providers and services.

I think if you took all of the ads that are out there, from TER, Eros, Backpage, Cityvibe, the phone book, etc., and added them together... at least 75 percent of them are bait/switch/ripoff.  Maybe more.

Premire (sp) doesn't have any reviews. I see Katherine formerly of RS and also indy is on there. But the only time I see a provider who has no reviews is if they are with a very good agency.

Bait and Switch happens alot and its basically false advertising. If you ordered a cheese pizza but they bring you a salad would you pay for it? would you pay for the driver? You wouldn't for the simple fact its not what you ordered. You should act the same when making an appointment with an escort, you state its not the girls fault.In reality its both the Agencies and Girls fault and you shouldn't give either of them a penny. They both have done this before and they know what they are doing.

90% of the pictures on the site were lifted from legitimate London escort agencies. Lauri, the big chested blonde retired from the business years ago. Chelsea is a well reviewed London escort who would be surprised to see her photos in the States. The agency is a putrid, lie spinning entity.
