If the women is more successfull, has more money, etc. should she than buy(if she so desires to)her own diamond engagement ring knowing it cost more than what her fiance could offered?
I say no, even though I have bought two(no lol).
If the fiance is cool with it, there is no harm done. But if he wants to buy the ring without help and she wants more than he can provide, then that is only the start of their problems.
