I imagine they get called much worse  But I am wih you, except my pet peeve is "baby".  I don't hold it against a woman tho...just simply ask them not to call me that and that usually solves the problem.

There's no doubt that some of the best GE and professional ladies go out of there way to remember and call you by your first name during an appt.  I particularly noticed Krissy do that, and that went a long way toward making the experience more intimate.

Call me crazy but I kinda like it.  It just shows me they're at least making an effort to come off as sweet and affectionate.  If they're not willing to make that easy gesture in the early stages of communication then that bodes poorly for the actual meeting.
