I didn't like the tone of some of messages you received so to a certain a-hole, I requested he go 'suck on a glass dick' because I have gotten more common sense out of some of the crack heads that I counsel. I am proud that you are proud of your heritage and frankly your story fascinates me. Your honesty and point of view are refreshing on a board where most of us rather remain anonymous and poke fun and sometimes make inane comments. If I could ever get to Vegas 'alone,' you'll be on my short list for dinner, drinks, and of course dessert. 'til then don't take no shit from anyone because you chose the work you have. Objectivification is for the classless pigs out there who think money is the only motivation for the hobby. If you truly enjoy your work, find a way someday out of the life and use your many gifts toward other ends.

...I was gone out of town and since I've no laptop (got stolen) I couldn't harass you all for a few days, did you miss me? (dont answer that), I have to tell you what happened after I posted that message and my responses to a few of your posts:
He emailed me, because he saw what I wrote, and explained to me that he hadnt noticed that he had said those things to me, but openly admitted he was infact referring to not only my ethnicity but my age as well on those occurrences throughout the night. He asked my forgiveness and wondered if he could make it up to me. I assured him that I wasn't truly offended just perplexed, and I also reassured him that I, myself, have been caught doing just the same: having preconceived notions of people before ever getting to meet them; and honestly, I think we all do it whether or not we will admit it to anyone or even our selves for that matter.
And I picked a few people who I thought needed to hear a response to my post-- if youre listening:
Elle Woods-- no, you're wrong, and next time be more open-minded; prejudiced and racist people often go for something they fear, either to get over their fear or because it is such a sweet taboo for them. And I don't look for racism, as I said I never had that happen to me before, though I have had a veteran provider explain why it is I may get some racists or bigots but that is a whole other story for a whole other day...
Poopdeck Pappy-- I am mixed with traces of black from both sides, thats where I get black features from (the best parts the nice lips and the butt), I am Cuban (father), and French Creole by way of St. Thomas (mother, though Im told they moved from Louisiana in the late 1800, when France was losing control of St. Thomas), so I just prefer to call myself Caribbean. I do have a very interesting accent-- sounds similar to Jamaican, but with a hint of spanish because I speak it. But I try to douse it down with intelligent (bullshit) words that make sound all the prettier!
Babalewie-- Oh you! you didnt have to refer to my email to you about the history of words used for blacks, people wouldnt really know how extensive it was so its not as informative for them. But thank you for telling people I am an amateur historian! It makes me smile... And yes you are right, racists have throughout history been very quick to partake of what they "so despise"....

Diaperman-- bite me... you're just mad because I chewed you out on the street girls post in which you were so very wrong. to lightly touch on the email that bablewie is referring to-- negro is still derogatory, but its the word nigger that gets everyone up in a heave, and the two words have nothing to do with each other except that they are both used to refer to blacks in america, read a history book before you confront me on anything. and blacks aren't by far the biggest racists-- you don't see them shelling out money to organized groups in tall white hats that burn crosses and openly profess their hatred for 3/4 of americas population. african americans just have (and rightly so) a chip on their shoulder from a nasty little bit of history you may be overlooking called slavery, though its been 150 years and so I do agree that its time to move forward... you're still wrong. sounds like you need to look inside yourself and rethink your thoughts on you... and YES, let me reiterate on what I have said time and time before in this post-- even if he was a racist he still would have gone for me, its called a sweet taboo...
BearClaw-- thank you for your valiant stance on my behalf (even though Im only half latina!), and thank you for your wonderful little jab about the glass dick (I think I may steal that from you)...
and +Alias-- you are very very right, and I agree totally that we do have our own problems with prejudices as a minority, as I have admitted above...

So there you are! Sent you an e-mail with no response so I was about to send out a Double D search party. I'm glad that your client was man enough to bring it up with you. You got the best result. It shows that he cares what you think of him, which is also a good sign. As for those who choose to disagree, that's okay too. As my grandmother (RIP) would say, "Different lids for different pots."

Definitely a coward....ohhhh yeah! Dani be sure to look at the thread where he starts trouble with NetMichelle closer to the top of this page under the name of ClaudeBalls. He used "BearClaw" to write virtually the same insults to NM the other day on the Chicago board. You dont ever want to meet a loser like him, someone who abuses women. Sure hope I meet him though....ohhhh yeah!
