Date Check or Preferred411?

Providers...If your seeing someone for the first time, would you prefer them to be a member of Date Check or Preferred411?
Or are either of them equally acceptable to you?

generally, it may depend on the area of the country you are in as to which site is preferable.  Suggest you post this on your regional board, you will probably get more responses tehre.

Not a provider either, but here is a client perspective from me. First of all, swim is probably correct  about the regional thing, and it might be a better regional question, unless you travel a lot, and want to know what is more widley accepted everywhere.

I belong to both P411 and date-check. I joined both thinking it would give me more options. What I have found out so far is that every lady who I have an interest in seeing who is on date-check, is also on p411. All the ladies I have seen in the past who are on date-check, are also on P411. I have never used date-check yet to set up a date, (since they are on both sites) but I have asked for DC verifications after. I have date-check verifications and p411 oks from the same ladies.

In my opinion, P411 is better. They are more user friendly, with better search options, and appointment request forms and PMs to providers. I also like that the providers can only see a clients profile if you give them your p411 ID, whereas on date-check, any provider can check out your profile. (I have had several providers who I have no interest in seeing, check out my profile on DC) Based on all of this, in hindsight, I probably would have joined P411 only. However, I paid for lifetime membership on date-check, so I am not leaving there. (P411 didn't have a lifetime option so I pay annually for now). On the other hand, the lifetime membership fee was less than a one hour appoointment with a provider, so it is a pretty small investment in the scheme of things.

I forgot to mention this in my earlier post, but P411 ladies are all current. I understand that if a lady doesn't check in for 60 days, then her account goes on inactive status. On Date-check I have seen profiles for ladies that retired long ago.
Another point to P411 over DC.

I really like both, because they offer the same basic result (verification by other providers).  

But, guys, if you want to make it easy to set up an appointment, PLEASE be a member of at least 1 of them!!!

DC is *very* easy to scam from the gent's side, as well as from the lady's.  There have been situations that cause me not to feel safe that just because a female is on DC, she's been verified as legit (whereas I know that Gina from P411 researches the girls she takes, they may not be stellar, but they are legit).  And I personally know several gents who have DC accounts with completely bogus info (I screened them via employment and driver's license so I *know* their info).  There are also monthly stories one hears about of girls not being aware that they've supposedly given OKs to DC guys - ones they've never even seen.... so there must be some relatively easy way to hack the thing and for guys to OK themselves with some chick's account.

Based on the above, DC means Danger Company to me. P411 isn't perfect but I do feel much safer with both the gents and ladies on it.

As I mentioned earlier, I think p411 is better than DC for various reasons. Your info here seems to give even more credibility to P411. However just FYI, it is just as easy for a guy to become a member of P411 with "bogus" info. All you need for membership to either site is 2 oks from providers on the site, and a payment. You don't need to give up any personsl info.

I hope that's true; otherwise, I will need to start a new account. I didn't have any references for P411 when I applied so I had to give them my personal info. Now, it would be easy to get a new account with P411 (with bogus info) because I have many references now.

Even if they don't delete it, they are based in Canada, so it would be hard for LE to get yoru info. Also they don't give your personal info out to the ladies. Only you can give out your id number, and then all that does is allows ladies access to your profile, (which you filled out.) and your OKs.

I personally choose not to accept P411 accounts that were established with references rather than actual identity screening.  I screen for identity and behavior... Verifiable work info or an identity-based P411 account (both compared against a driver's license) works to ensure the "identity" portion, references/blacklists/board posts/email communications illuminate the "behavior" portion.  

Granted, no screening is 100% fool proof but (knock on wood) my methods have served me well so far...  ;-)

My P411 account was established with references and I won't be able to provide you with my work info and I won't show you my driver license. Instead of dismissing potential clients like myself, you might want to check their P411 okay list and TER whitelist because I have met many of the TER top 10 providers. I feel the quality of providers can also give you an indication of the quality of the client. Just my 2c :)

What she does works for her, and seems to be working quite well I might add. Every lady has the right to run their business as they wish, and to screen as they wish. You as a client are free to give as much or as little information as you wish. It means you won't see somebody like EC. Plenty of other ladies will be willing to see you with other types of screening. It's pretty simple actually. You give up what you are willig to give up, and see ladies who are good with that,

Your suggestions are not going to change the way a lady runs her business.

... for my business model being so exclusionary that I might be missing out on some guys who aren't willing to tell me (and prove) who they are.  Sure, I could know them from my private life or other business dealings and we could have a cozy "Gee, it's so nice to see you under *these* circumstances" chat.  Sure, they could be rapists, politicians being investigated for illegal funds usage, child molesters, Hollywood A-listers with paparazzi in tow, ax murderers or just guys who like to bitch slap (using another's phase for what the idiot Farmer kid did) their girlfriends around....  What's not to love about that?  

Yep, I'm really the one missing out. ;-)

Fortunately, my business model has served me rather well for quite some time.  I get to feel comfortable meeting wonderful guys and get to make a comfortable bit of money doing so.  I don't need, or want, to see *everyone* out there.  If my requirements are too stringent for some, shucks.  There are plenty of girls that person can see.  And there are plenty (for my tastes) of guys who appreciate a girl being very concerned with the company she keeps.  It's a win-win!

Observant ladies can figure this out pretty easily.  And if the account is established via references, all one has to do is provide work info or other suitable identity info and the OKs on the account can still be used for the reference/behavior portion.  No biggie .....

There is absolutely no way I am going to give you my drivers license number. If someone else does, great.

There are personal info I am willing to part with and anything involving identity proof issued by the government such as SS#, DL and passport are not the one I am going to part with.

Do you think LE’s DL states they are LE, don’t think so and even it does, it is easy for them to get one without it.

1.  P411's layout is more intuitive and ad-free.  Date-check is a clusterfuck of ads.

2.  The okays are monitored by Gina (the owner).  You cannot be subjected to a vindictive 'do not see' just because you write a less than flattering review.  Either you get the okay, or we have to explain to Gina why not.  We also do not have the option of not responding.  At the same time, I trust Gina to listen to reasons for not giving an okay, and to remove someone who is not safe.

3.  Gina holds providers accountable to be professional.  If you send an appointment request, or an okay request, we must respond within X number days (4 maybe? - not sure) or our account gets suspended.  It helps weed out the flakes.  Many girls bitch about this requirement - I think it's good.

4.  Gina is transparent with the issues she has had.  When accounts have been compromised by LE, she has posted the details on her site.  I have never seen anything like that from DC, and yet I'm sure they have had similar issues which they just pretend didn't happen.  It opens Gina up to scrutiny, and sometimes people use her transparency against her, but she maintains her integrity as far as I'm concerned.

5.  The P411 encrypting is significantly better - and in my relatively uneducated opinion - safer - than Date-check.

Just my .02, which probably isn't worth that.

Dear Natasha:
Considering that you wouldn't have a local or a national hobbyist society which would have a circle of providers that you value their opinions, would you say that preferred 411 gives you the most dialogue which is critical for being safe when you are on this tier of pay 4 play? Also with other verification sites would you say they are closer to "Pray4play to be okay" since the dialogue and transparency isn't as expedient and direct as preferred 411?  Also as a certain Delaware Valley Provider says we all need to be safe.
