My new truck :-)teeth_smile

I bought a new GMC Sierra and returned to the dealer the other day because I couldn't get the radio to work.  The salesman explained that the radio was voice-activated.

"Nelson," salesman said to the radio.

The radio replied, "Ricky or Willie?"

"Willie!" he continued, and "On the Road Again" came from the speakers.

Then he said, "Ray Charles!" and in an instant, "Georgia" on My Mind" replaced Willie Nelson.

I drove away happy, and for the next few days, every time I said, "Beethoven," I'd get beautiful classical music. And if I said, "Beatles," I'd get one of their awesome songs.

Yesterday, some  guy ran a red light and nearly creamed my new truck, but I swerved in time to avoid him.

I yelled, "Asshole!" Immediately, the radio responded with: "Ladies and gentlemen, the President of the United States."

Damn, I love this truck!

The only American car/truck I would even consider buying would be a Ford. Better quality, and yes they didn't take any taxpayer money.

At least I hope you negotiated a great deal.

I hear all GMC cars and trucks come with an Obama porcelain statue.

I'm actually surprised fasteddie bought a truck with an estimated mileage of 15 city. Since he is such a big global warming zealot, you would think he would opt for something a bit more fuel efficient than a big ass gas guzzling American truck.

You probably bought the Ford stock when it was around at three dollars though :)

I do give a lot of credit to Alan Mulally (CEO) with turning Ford around w/out govt intervention. Hell will probably freeze over before GM and/or Chrysler ever pay back their TARP loans.

for the fact you have a GMC truck to buy at all.

Welcome back!
