I still dispute many of the claims of the OP, but in the interest of "fair play" I will allow the thread to stay.
Let me start with the parts I agree with. There are several MP within walking distance of the Del Rey with rates approximating what Valerie has quoted, much cheaper than at the Del Rey, which is rather expensive by Costa Rican standards but still a bargain by US standards. A hundred an hour is still the going rate, you can negotiate down to $60 to $80 if you care to, but I am too lazy to try to save a lousy twenty bucks. Contrary to popular opinion in this country, negotiating is not consdidered "disrespectful", it is accepted practice anywhere south of the US. I will actully negotiate a lower rate only to give the money back as a "propina" just to let the girl know I am not a newbie, lol
The term "tica" does not refer to providers it is just what all women from Costa Rica are called, Costa Rican men are called "ticos".
Most of the chicas speak at least some English, and many are fluent. Sorry Val, but I have never had the slightest desire to fuck an American women from the moment I get on the plane headed south, I am not going to call you "disengenuous", but I will state that I would not advise any other providers to go to anywhere in Latin America in the hopes of making five grand a week.
There are literally hundreds of women working the MP's around the downtown area, but to call them all "beautiful chicas" is quite a bit of an overstatement IMO. The del rey has the hotter women by and large, but the days of there being 3-400 hundred chicas 24/7 are a thing of the past. I would estimate that during the day there are forty to fifty chicas working the Del Rey, increasing to about a hundred at "shift change" which is at about 4 PM and further increasing to maybe 200 chicas on the busier nights. No where near as good as the old days, but still not bad. The biggest drop has come from immigration running off most of the Colombiannas, there used to by dozens of super hot chicas from all over colombia, but most of them have been deported. The majority of the women are native ticas, with quite a few Nicas, and quite a few Dominicas.
Unless you are on a tight budget, I would skip the sportmens club, it is frequented mainly by broke dick American ex pats, trying to live on a couple grand a month, and "mongers on a budget" who like the free shit they get at the sportsman.
