How do I get a provider account?

Forgive me if this question is misplaced, however I have limited browser access. I am a new member to TER and also a provider. I see that you can have reviews linked to your profile, though I have yet to find any regarding myself. I would like to know what I can do to begin receiving reviews. I have a dozen regular clients that are waiting for me to set up an account so that they may publish reviews. I am also wanting to pay for a VIP membership; will this automatically give me an option for a provider account? I appreciate any help that may be offered! (:

So have them write those reviews and then you can link them to your handle. This stuff is in the Self-Help Center.

It's generated after the first review is submitted. Be patient, this can sometimes take awhile, it's kind of a catch 22. no reviews, no one wants to see you, but you can participate on your local board. If you have a web site, get the ter logo on it.  In the mean time why don't you read the self help center aka the newbie manual, back on the main page of this board.  Good luck! Rome wasn't built in a day.

They (your regulars) can go ahead and write you a review. I'm guessing they are not familiar with TER or they would know and could have told you. I apologize if I'm assuming incorrectly. They will need to become TER members and read up on procedures about submitting reviews to make the process easier. That is how you will get a profile. The first review that is submitted, approved, and posted will establish it.

There are others that can better answer the rest of your questions.

Welcome.

Ok, thank you very much for all the answers. I now understand.Hopefully you can also tell me if I am using the search function correctly? None of my searches turn up any results and I have tried putting in just phone numbers as well as just a common name and the location. I am just wanting to make sure that there are not already reviews that I am not able to find. I have been a provider since August and all my sessions have gone very well with many coming back for additional visits.

search for, the more hits you will get.  For example, try just an area code instead of the full phone number.

I've been a provider for a little over a year and I don't yet have reviews on TER, although I have them elsewhere. Some clients will write reviews; most won't. However, paying for VIP yourself will give you access to several things not otherwise granted.

Good luck and welcome to the sisterhood!
